I was nervous about reviewing this product. It meant feeding my baby foods that are potentially life-threatening to me. But that's exactly why I needed to do it.
The Lil Mixins Daily Mix is a collection of seven top allergens in baby-safe powder form, made for feeding to your little one in order to help 'train' their immune system to tolerate the allergenic foods - and therefore (hopefully) - prevent them from developing an allergy to those foods.
This video charts what happened when I began the early allergen introduction process with my four-month-old baby girl in an attempt to help reduce her risk of developing a serious food allergy like the one I have to tree nuts.
It includes parts of my interview with the Lil Mixins founder, allergy mom and author, Meenal Lele. The remainder of my chat with her, in which we discuss her book, 'The Baby & The Biome' is here:

Thank you Gemma - I recently finished reading 'Food Without Fear' by Ruchi Gupta (after watching your recent health Hackers) and it mentioned the method & purpose of Lil Mixins and is very interesting in the key age of introducing under 1 years foods mostly always proteins top 9 allergens to train the immune system to be resilient. I have a lot of respect for you Gemma navigating the world and going to places where you have to be ultra-safe of not encountering the items you're allergic to. Best Wishes David

I'll look up that book, thanks! I really appreciate you watching my video, David. The idea of training the infant immune system is certainly one I find interesting as a new mother. Your comments are always welcome here :)
