I've seen several sources say it was Meryl Streep that was bumped from doing the Elephant voiceover in favor of Meghan. Disney had to pay Ms. Streep anyway, plus donate money to several charities of her choice AND Bob Iger was demoted.

I feel bad for everyone whose talent went into making this documentary to have it just come down to Meghan Markle's small involvement at the end.
