We mainly film using a Sony FX30/E 11mm F1.8 camera and a Zhiyun Crane M3 gimbal for steady footage. Nature's sounds are recorded with a Zoom F6 and binaural microphones, and we polish the final product with Davinci Resolve Studio and Izotope RX.

It's interesting to me that some people from other countries find such neighborhoods, creepy or too quiet. And where are the people? I live in a not so affluent neighborhood but when I come home from work. I don't see many people on the streets either. And when I don't have to go to my second job. I don't see too many people out. They're just either at school at work or minding their own business. That's basically how we like it. And I know when I'm tired and coming home. And that's how I like it nice and quiet. Peaceful.

To everyone asking where are the people. They are at work, at schools, at shopping centers, ballgames, on vacation/road trip somewhere, etc and most of all, they are inside their homes. Cars are passing by, there are people in them. The only ones you will see on the roads are people who are walking to go to their friend's house or walking their dogs. America has zoning. Residential areas are not for commercial establishments, that is why you will not see a lot of people around.

I'm not a real estate channel, I walk for ambience and relaxation, so I had to lookup the cost of houses where I filmed and then I calculated how much a person would need to earn to live in such a place. This is assuming they didn't pay cash for the house. Depending on what you mean by "rich" will determine if you consider this to be a neighborhood of that type.
Delving into this requires a nuanced understanding. Currently, the homes shown in the video are priced between $600k and $2.5 million, positioning the neighborhood in the upper-class range. Typically, a prospective homeowner would need an annual income of approximately $394,284 to feasibly afford such a home. Yet, it's important to highlight that before 2020, these homes were valued significantly lower. Owing to events around that year, their value has surged, and when combined with today's steep interest rates of 8.4%, it has intensified challenges in the US real estate sector.
As a result of these dynamics, many who historically belonged to the middle class find themselves living in homes now categorized as "upper class", while others in the middle class struggle to purchase homes traditionally seen as within their reach.
To determine the annual income needed to comfortably afford a home, we typically use the principle that no more than 28% of your gross monthly income should be spent on housing expenses, and no more than 36% on total debt, including housing and other debt like car loans. This is known as the 28/36 rule in personal finance.

Some nice looking homes for sure! Neighborhood seemed a bit creepy early on in the video. Hardly anyone was outdoors, a lot of overgrown yards with low maintenance. It didn’t scream $600k and up at the beginning of the video, but could see it in spots. Thank you for sharing!
