Good to finally see a fortified town making use of the land around it for fields and farms instead of the usual empty landscape you often see in movies and TV.
I'm very picky when it comes to accepting artistic interpetations of JRRT's words, but with every Ardacraft project you either perfectly capture the vision I had in my head, or, if not, you present something much, much better. Never once have I thought "nah, don't like what they've done there." Just amazing.
Thank you! We are - of course - reliant on the generations of Tolkien artists who've gone before us. And we have the advantage of having no priorities beyond simply reflecting the words on the page. But a project like this takes months to complete, and we're glad you can see the passion and effort that went into it :)
Always loved Tolkein's spin on this old Anglo Saxon poem that laments the loss of Viking warrior-culture as it was being replaced/merged with Christianity. Beautiful recreation of Edoras, absolutely stunning work as always!
Awesome work! I had no idea you started in 2014. I recently started myself, but alone, not with a team my own Middle Earth project, to recreate everything according to the movies 1:1. Disagree with me if you like, but I consider MCME having failed in this part :D Sure they did an awesome job, but it's more like their builds are... 50% self-creativity and 50% inspiration from the movies.

@@ArdaCraftMChave you played shadow over gondor map?
Amazing... not just as a middle earth representation this place, but a town in a videogame full stop.
What an incredible arrangement, and the build! Just begging to be filled with life and people.
Music amazing

Is the map available to play on
Certainly, there's a series of links in the video description that'll tell you how to get on the server.
Did you guys take inspiration from lotro with this one? I see it coming back quite a lot. :D
The tapestries in Meduseld are taken from LOTRO!
