Gracias!!!!! Maravilloso
Very lovely garden. Thanks for the walk.
Our daughter and family lived in England for many years and in 2005, we went over and they took us to Cornwall for a week's vacation. We stayed in a cute cottage on a working farm. Every morning they came around with a small tractor and wagon and picked up any families who wanted to see the animals. They got to pet rabbits, goats, feed the animals. They had so much fun. We spent one day touring the beautiful Lost gardens of Heligan. I have loads of pictures including the sleeping maiden. It was such a wonderful experience. We also toured the Eden Project. Awesome.

Well that is debatable because several areas lay claim to that one being where I live in the Severn Valley close to the Vale of Evesham, the area is renowned for fruit and would class asparagus I don't think i can answer that question for you...
Interesting...
I was very disappointed when I visited LGoH but judging from you photos, it is a lot better now.

Thank you...
I'm sure that word Cornovia relates to the word weir or if u break it into parts it would be corn/weir,I have a theory that these are remnant words from a time when u could walk across the North sea plain, maybe 8 thousand years ago, also I think wales may have had a similar origin,I believe they may have evolved in this order, weir, war, wall, well, and the possible source word being guard or its original form.
I believe there is evidence of language from the stone age,a time when global water level-
is cornwall the garden of britain?
kent, of course, is the garden of england.
and is the lake district in cumbria sometimes called the garden of europe?
i would be very interested in finding out all this as i love the celtic nationalism pages on wikipedia. i need to know!!!
You're welcome...
Maybe now we know were Eden was...
can someone plz tell me the name of the piece of music?
The music is called 'Full Circle' by the band called '2002'
Idyllic. Why are they called the Lost Gardens?
The Lost Gardens of Heligan near Mevagissey in Cornwall, are one of the most popular botanical gardens in the UK. The gardens are typical of the 19th century Gardenesque style with areas of different character and in different design styles. The gardens were created by members of the Cornish Tremayne family from the mid-18th century to the beginning of the 20th century, and still form part of the family's Heligan estate. The gardens were neglected after the First World War and restored only in the 1990s, a restoration that was the subject of several popular television programmes and books. The gardens include aged and colossal rhododendrons and camellias, a series of lakes fed by a ram pump over 100 years old, highly productive flower and vegetable gardens, an Italian garden, and a wild area filled with subtropical tree ferns called "The Jungle". The gardens also have Europe's only remaining pineapple pit, warmed by rotting manure, and two figures made from rocks and plants known as the Mud Maid and the Giant's Head.
Yes and I think Scotland has a connection to these words as well,It is along the same theme, and I believe has its origin in the Baltic.
My theory should be investigated and I would like to think at some stage it might be confirmed as being correct or dismissed,I am open to scrutiny and am prepared to eat humble pie if found wrong.
I am a person that likes to base knowledge on reality,so to me I am not interest in a history that started 2 thousand years ago,to me that is just the star of religion
