    The dance was from South Carolina, not Harlem. Regional calls were different. That is what they called Swing Out in the Carolinas in 1937

    I would love to learn more about the original called version of Big Apple. Is so hard to find information since most websites refer to the Big Apple of the Whitey's Lindy Hoppers.

      This is what they called it in 1937.
      These calls also originated in the Carolinas and not NYC.

      This was cool to see, but clearly choreographed. Some calls weren't even said and others were way later than they needed to be called.
