It was kind of weird that he seemed to be trying to stay dirty in the TV series, but I guess you could assume that he was under pressure to leave with the express, on time.
Huh funny, in the tv series Sir toppen hat wouldn’t allow Gordon to pull his train because he was dirty. In the books, Sir toppen hat punish him for causing the accident on purpose (when Gordon fell into a ditch). You know the way I see it, I think the books made more sense. After all, Gordon did cause confusion and delay all because he didn’t want to pull cars. And the cause and effect for that, is when the fat controller punished him by pulling cars because of his action.
Hello Gordon you look as though you had a Mud bath. Be a sensible engine and have a shower instead. I haven't time to dawdle over my appearance like fussy tank engines do
Love Sir Topham Hatt's "so there"
I like how the Reverend felt the need to name the workmen who are washing Gordon.
Me, too. Hearing the staff referred to by name is always just the icing on the cake.
Yes
1:24 pleaseeeee 😭 these narrations are gold 🥇
5:00 Gordon’s voice is pure ear candy.
3.47 James’s blastpipe is chuffing to his wheels slipping.

You got your hose in my eyes!
And you got your eyes in our hose!

Autumn Leaves, also known as Leaves, or the Trouble With Leaves/Mud.
That’s how I remember Thomas the tank engine the railway series book autumn leaves. I remember my mother reading it to me and my two sisters.
I'm not gonna lie Gordon sounds very drunk in this one.
That ditchwater might have gotten into his boiler when he took a dip last episode.
Someone poured alcohol into his tank

Gordon eating trucks is canon and you can’t convince me otherwise 😂
Hating
no it's not
Trucks aren’t
called troublesome for nothing
Why does Johnny Morris say Autumn leaves at the start, when the title is leaves?
3:43 What's the matter? What's the matter, What's the mattermattermattermattermattermatter
This story was adapted into an episode of series 3. Thomas, who was absent from the story, appears in the model version.
I really Johnny Morris narrations, but I don't like how he ommits some of the lines from the stories.
I agree!
1:16 "i ATE them" LOL how do an engine ate a truck and do it even taste?? haha!
1:16
How does an engine eat trucks?
Gordon actually said “I hate them” it sounds like “ate” because of his Northern accent.
I heard they taste like wood and metal... EEEUCK!!!
👍💕
The Trouble With Mud
Did Gordon hate being cleaned as opposed to James liking being cleaned?
No, he was just annoyed,

ゴードン みぞにはまる の次の日 洗ってもらってる
しかしこの影響でハット卿に急行列車の仕事を取りあげられた
James forgot one of the coaches.
I really don't like the TV series adaption of this. This is alot better.
Now that I agree with! They should get back to S1-2 quality
Me neither
The TV Series version didn't even make sense.
Gordon wasn't allowed to pull coaches because he was covered in mud.
Yes, a lot of engines pull trains in that condition in the U.S.
