I wish they would reformulate their sunscreens too. The formulations are beautiful but the amount of sweat they cause especially the silymarin one, phew! I would really love if they have a gel formulation for their sunscreens, specially now when the temperature is really high.
Exactly my issue! I live in Africa, in extremely tropical climate. I can’t tell you how irritating it is to have sudden burst of sweat after applying their silymarin sunscreen 🤦🏻♀️
Haha! I guess we are all in the same boat. The minimalist sunscreens are great for winters but during summers it will feel like your skin just melted off. For now I am switching to Derma Co sunscree(hylauronic acid).

I have had acne and bumps since my teenage days, and throughout my whole 20s. Even as a 31, I couldn’t get rid of all the acne marks and pimples popping out every month. Started Niacinamide 10% in the morning and Salicylic 02% at night 3 weeks ago, and I haven’t ever seen myself so clear. Yes, my marks are there, but i can see then getting better. My texture is smoother now, with lower bumps. I have huge open pores, and that hasn’t healed yet, but one at a time I guess. Minimalist is God send for me.
I heard that India is having a huge heat wave. Stay safe. I use niacinamide and mandelic acid (once a week) from The Ordinary. I liked listening to this video, thank you. The niacinamide is at 10% which is high so I use it only 1-2 days. I'm guessing that's okay?
Niacinamide 5% is the standard amount and does not cause any irritation. 10% can lead to irritation but again it is completely subjective. I prefer 5%.
Their nicenimide is my holy grail…. Simply love it and apply it daily am pm, excited to know it has become better now… also loving the new improvements ❤️
It's crazy hot here in Hyderabad and I was going through the same bumps and texture like you. I tried cosrx blackhead liquid everyday but it made my skin dry and flaky. Hi, Jovi! This was a very informative video! Thank you so much! Wish you had also reviewed the reformulated Alpha Arbutin serum. I somehow found the earlier one to be more effective. I use mine AM and PM, followed by Vit C and Sunscreen in AM and Niacinamide in PM. Hope I am not making any mistakes there..
alpha arbutin and vit c and niacinamide all together is not needed actually. They all deliver very similar results so you wont be able to gage what results you're getting from which product.

It depends on what your skin needs and what issues you are tackling. For example, Vit C can be used during morning follow up with sunscreen. If you have texture, blackheads then BHA will help. Use at night only. If pigmentation, whiteheads is the issue or have dry skin then go for AHA. Start slowly just 1-2 times a week with lower percentage. Always always follow up with a barrier strengthening moisturiser. And Niacinamide is an all in one solution. A great ingredient specially if pores and oiliness are the issues. Do not forget to start with a lower percentage and gentle formulation. Vitamin C - Morning Sunscreen -Morning AHA/ BHA- Night 1-2 times a week Niacinamide: Day/Night or both Always follow up with a good moisturiser

I have a weird experience with using minimalist niacinamide and retinol. When i layer them (niacin first and then retinol), the retinol starts to pill. Anyone else experienced the same? Both products from minimalist.
This generally happens when you use too much of the product. Happened to me so I figured this out. Once you apply niacinamide, wait for it to completely absorb into your skin, the. Top it with the retinol. This helped me and hope it helps you too.
I would like to answer your doubt... The new formulation of nicinamide is suppose to be light brownish color. It is given on their site, or you can check in nykka too in description part. Your niacinamide wasn't bad! I hope where ever you have thrown away this holly grail, is still intact and reach to your hand. 🌼

I dont mind the previous packaging because they are bringing international brand in India. Many of us in deep down wanted to try that brands but we can't afford that. Don't use Alpha Arbutin, Chemical Sunscreens, Hybrid Sunscreens, Retinol, Higher % of BHA and AHA. Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Physical Sunscreen, AHAs, Peptides are perfectly fine. Please keep in mind the % of AHAs and BHAs.

If you wash your face with face wash then of course you need to apply the products according to time and need. For example if its daytime and sun rays reach you then apply sunscreen otherwise no need. Moisturiser is a must. Vit C depends how long you gave the time to work in the previous routine. It depends on your skin.
It's soooo good . Their retinol and Azealic acid is literally a lifesaver for my acne. I've tried those along with both their niacinamide serums, their 10% vitamin c, tranexamic acid , niacinamide body lotion, bha body wash , bha facial moisturizer and Brightening toner . This is the first and only brand where I've tried so many products from the same brand as well as repurchase them out of all of these the only one i didn't enjoy using was the niacinamide and zinc serum. All the others are amazing and so good for my sensitive and acne prone skin . Using the body wash just twice a week got rid of all my body acne and I've honestly tried to switch to a different retinol because I'm a skincare junkie and like trying new stuff my nope ! My skin loves this stuff and i can't live without it. I honestly didn't even notice i had become such a fan of the brand until I opened my vanity and realised almost every product i used is from the brand
I love their 2% salicylic acid, 10% niacinamide. It helped me control my oil production and acne. I'm using 10% vitamin C but unable to tell the difference. Maybe because I'm not that consistent. But I want to try their Alpha Arbutin and the new 16% Vitamin C. Also have a question, can we layer Alpha Arbutin with Niacinamide?

Don't use Alpha Arbutin, Chemical Sunscreens, Hybrid Sunscreens, Retinol, Higher % of BHA and AHA.
Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Physical Sunscreen, AHAs, Peptides are perfectly fine. Please keep in mind the % of AHAs and BHAs.
Azaleic Acid is wonderful during pregnancy.

If you wash your face with face wash then of course you need to apply the products according to time and need. For example if its daytime and sun rays reach you then apply sunscreen otherwise no need. Moisturiser is a must. Vit C depends how long you gave the time to work in the previous routine. It depends on your skin.

It's soooo good . Their retinol and Azealic acid is literally a lifesaver for my acne. I've tried those along with both their niacinamide serums, their 10% vitamin c, tranexamic acid , niacinamide body lotion, bha body wash , bha facial moisturizer and Brightening toner . This is the first and only brand where I've tried so many products from the same brand as well as repurchase them out of all of these the only one i didn't enjoy using was the niacinamide and zinc serum. All the others are amazing and so good for my sensitive and acne prone skin . Using the body wash just twice a week got rid of all my body acne and I've honestly tried to switch to a different retinol because I'm a skincare junkie and like trying new stuff my nope ! My skin loves this stuff and i can't live without it. I honestly didn't even notice i had become such a fan of the brand until I opened my vanity and realised almost every product i used is from the brand

I love their 2% salicylic acid, 10% niacinamide. It helped me control my oil production and acne. I'm using 10% vitamin C but unable to tell the difference. Maybe because I'm not that consistent. But I want to try their Alpha Arbutin and the new 16% Vitamin C. Also have a question, can we layer Alpha Arbutin with Niacinamide?
yes you can layer AA and Niacin. And Vitamin C definitely requires consistency to see results
