Pinoy rap is known for its melodic rap. But I think what makes it so different and special are: (1) the Filipino language itself has a lot of plosives (p, d sounds) which gives it a natural percussive sound; (2) most, if not all, rappers in the PH can also sing.
I grew up listening to Rap in just one language at the time. Now there are various languages of Rap and Asian Rap like no other especially Korean and Tagalog! I'm thankful and grateful to be able to experience it. 🤗💙

Flow G is dope. This song is such a vibe. Speaking of rap, you need to react to OC Dawg's "Pauwi Na Ako" also on the Wish Bus. Their flow is wicked! And of course, EZ Mil. Any song from EZ would be good, be it his rap songs, R&B, rock ballad and even his death metal stuff (if you are into metal). EZ is versatility personified. As you guys pointed out in several of your reactions to Filipino artists, most of them are multi-dimensional, not stuck in just one style or genre. Oh and for female rappers, I'd recommend Alex Bruce (she have several Wish Bus performances as well) and KZ Tandingan's Nag-iisa Na Naman. Thank you as always for appreciating our pinoy talent.

if you think about it, the song's really catchy cause it's trendy and the melody of the chorus/refrain is easy to the ears. The same when you, a foreigner, listen to khiphop, we might not know if the lyrics are funny or serious, but if the beat and flow is catchy, then we really like it.

Flow G is infectious. I can't understand pinoy but his music is a universal language.
Naturally Filipinos are naturally gifted Singer... what this Local Artists needs are all Filipino Supports, Entertainment Label Agency both on Record Labels, Tv Stations, Radio Station... So for now very low progress unlike before it even have SONG FESTIVAL, Song Writing Competition, Live Tv Performances for promoting Albums, Single Release it's really sad.
