You said it was -8 to -10C possibly overnight! How is it that it didn't snow ?

Hi, so it did snow a few days before we hiked, and again the day after we returned...the temperatures can dip low and not snow ...snow or rain depend on other factors too like humidity, precipitation in sub zero temperatures are required for snow formation..I hope that clears your doubt..
