CRYPTIC HATRED Internal Torment Album Review | Overkill Reviews

- Finnish death metal band CRYPTIC HATRED released their second full-length "Internal Torment" today, via Time To Kill Records. “Internal Torment” ventures far beyond the conventions of old school death metal, without surrendering an ounce of viciousness. Strong nuances of doom and creepy melodies can be heard throughout the record’s ten tracks concluding fittingly with a suffocating wall of sound that leaves its listeners bruised, battered, and shaken.

Thank you so much for the review!❤
Killer record!
Cryptic Hatred, its like I hate you but I am not gonna be obvious about it.
Huh
Blayne is looking more like James Hetfield circa 1991 all the time.
YEAH!
Whoever loves this is recommended to check out „Disguised Malignance“, too.
Also young band, also new old school death metal, also Finnish. Enjoy and thank me later. They are incredible.
I think this was on Banger at some point too. Awesome record.
Listened to disguised malignance so much it's just so good
That's a total "buy me now" album cover. This sounds like my kind of death metal album!
Holy shit! The boys getting their album reviewed on here is awesome! Been listening to them a since the "free from the grave" demo
Awesome review!!! I am looking forward to listening to this album 👍🤘🤘
Got it on order. It flows really well, more so than your normal death metal. Reminds me of Altars of Madness, which is a good thing. Not out until 26th July in England though now.
Akhlys and Nyktophobia albums are excellent too out this week, also on order.
I absolutely love this record. It’s one of my albums of the year so far. Glad the lads are getting some recognition!
where's the brat review?
I’m most definitely going to check this out 🤘🥳🤘
Great review, Blayne! Please review the new Tribulation when it comes out!
That riff halfway through "Tomb of Desecration" gave me the stank face nod!
Absolutely brilliant continuation from Nocturnal Sickness! I was at that show where that music video in the beginning was filmed. I think some dude was on drugs or something there and the security guard was just rolling her eyes at that dude.
Yeah man i was at the same show and i was in the bathroom at the same time as the guy who was probably on drugs. Very interesting to say the least...
Some of the best brutal dm i've ever heard in my life!
The album is great indeed. Support these young Finns.
Fucking love Cryptic Hatred!
Rockin🔥
Hey where can I get that shirt?
Any chance of covering that new Scarcity record?
Y'all already cover Obscene? Would've fit perfectly in the shout outs at least. I may have missed it.
Love this album
I thought maybe Blayne would review the new Mr. Big album this week. :) I like that this album kills for 37 minutes and then is done. Perfect for a death metal album.
Their first album "Nocturnal Sickness" is pretty good as well, pure old Cannibal Corpse worship but I'm not complaining...
And yes they were only 19-20 years old when they recorded that one
actually we were 17-18 during the first album! :)
Please check out Carved in blood! Throughout an ancient ride!! So awsome!!
I'm going through that same, "holy shit, I'm so fucking old" moment right now. You're not alone Blayne ✊
i also have that kendrick shirt blayne
Heeeeeell yea
What is that shirt of?
Pretty sure it's a Kendrick Lamar t-shirt
@@TheDeivid001 I was curious to learn and your sarcastic reply is not very helpful
@@clarkbar122No, it genuinely says Kendrick. The design is him and Drake.
At first I was certain it was a Cryptopsy shirt, but now that I’m looking at it I have no clue. It’s so similar it makes me think it’s a parody maybe?? Idk, but I should would like to find out now.
@@clarkbar122 no for real... I wasn't being sarcastic... It is a Kendrick Lamar shirt
no real individual identity.. There's a TON of bands that all sound like this and not only now but for the last 3 decades... Come on people!! BE ORIGINAL
Issuing you a “restraining” order on all your sarcasm Mr.
Hey. Where's the Judas Priest review? Lol. Jokes.
Super talented, production is a bit too polished for me though
Regardless if there is a "summer drought" let's get more of these reviews, these are great. No shoutouts?? Your not trying hard enough.
I mean this Band was from the last shoutouts so it seems dyre at the Moment :D
@@RodriTheMighty that might be true but here's a bunch of albums that came out this week that he could of listed. No disrespect or trying to take anything away from his review.
Forgotten Tomb-- Nightfloating
Aldheorte-- Where Gods Have Eyes To See
Seth -- La France des Maudits
Barrowlands -- Tides
At least it's not some stoner-doom shoegaze black folk "metal" band. Finally.
that's... a terrible band name
That's why it's perfect for old school death metal
How could you say not a lot is coming out in July???
