Very nice. I will just add that the glue at the start, is really not needed / optional, The first row of petals (in pink) will hold the base (in green) in place. However it needs to be done so the green is flipped over, flat part facing down, and done on a flat surface, not holding it in the air. Also, using 12 petals x 9 rows gives you 108 petals and it makes it bigger and easier to assemble without using tools; only with your hands. Once again, very nice. Thank you!

This model is spectacular! I really like the choise of colors, they work really well. Though I wonder about the paper you used. Yes, there is an information in the description saying it's washi paper, but there are many, many types of it. I tried searching for a shop that would sell this kind of paper by the color, to no avail. Would you be so kind and share a link to the shop where you buy the paper? Anyway, you're doing a great job, keep it up!

I came across a work of art today on DeviantArt, and I don't know if you know what "bases" are, but to put it simple; someone has traced over the photo of your lotus, drawn a chibi in it and is now selling this as a "base". I thought I'd make you aware of this, as they're technically making money off of your creation. would you like me to link you the work, or perhaps attempt to get them to take it down? or should I just let them be?

Can you tell me how many petals you need and which paper you used
is the flower suppose to be lotus (蓮花) or chrysanthemum (菊花)???
It is a lotus flower but it you add in more petals to make it thicker and rounder than I suppose it would become chrysanthemum.
Peter Wong a chrysanthemum is much flatter than a lotus.
Kiki Dodson +++ I have seen a real lotus. lotus flowers do not have green leaves at the base of the flowers and too many petals.
I think this is water lily, since the petals are not as round at the top as lotus'. But it's so so pretty. Thanks for posting this kind of therapy ;-)
