Wilkins's concentration is _mind-blowing_ . Even when the tune got to it's hottest point, with drums and chords *banging* , he never overblew his saxophone to the point of destroying his beautiful tone, no matter how excited he got. WOW!!!! (edit: and his lines just flow like WATER, and connect to one another like I haven't heard a LONG time!!!)
Absolutely mind blowing performance. They were all so in the zone, amazing, hats off. Special credit needs to be made for Mark, one of the best drumming performances i’ve ever heard. Perfect fills, perfect timing, made the stage rumble, reacting to the solo and adding crazy intensity and words cannot describe how good this is. Perfect 10/10 drumming. This is a masterclass from all but especially Mark. 🙏👏
I love that Alex isn't on the start of this. Just jumps in the middle of Immanuel's solo like a boss, thanks his friend (student?) for keeping the bass warm.
Nathan Pence is the other bass player, insanely good too. He was probably sittin' in the tune before or something and Claffy came back in the middle of the tune, idk. He's definitely not just a "student"
It was actually Nathan on the gig! Not a student, a wonderful bassist in his own right and my little bro :) He and the ensemble were kind enough to have me sit in :)

Damn that sax solo blew my mind...
Amazing band! The drummer is absolutely incredible. Literally should be the most famous drummer in the world. Never heard anyone better tbh
DYNAMIC! A throwback to those thrilling days of yesteryear but at the same time fresh and brand new!!!
As an alto player I always love listening to Immanuel. Fantastic to hear the others here as well.
The drummer plays exactly what needed to be played. Late quintet tony vibes
