I just hope there will be attenpt to make a game built on bones of this one, but leaning more into roguelike elements and where you basically pick a DM for your run from the four scribes. I love the stylistic of thos game and both Leshy's and B308's campaigns have their cool points, but I want to see DM skills of Grimmora or Magnificus, especially after the finale of the game. PS. About finale- I fkn love it. The way that each of the character's you play against shake your hand before basically dying is touching and hell even Leshy comes out as more likable.
Leshy was the bad guy, but he wasn't a bad guy. He understood every trial needed challenge, every game needed an enemy. He was happy to play that role, and I felt heartbroken when time came to shake his hand.
This piece is gold (along with the entire OST but still) (note that I will refrain from using any spoilers, as I'd love people that haven't played it to experience it fully) It immediately sets the tone in the cabin as something eerily relaxing, with this looming threat always lurking deep beneath, which settles down after getting accostumed to the setting and seeing that the thing once perceived as a threat is not actually dangerous nor means any harm, after you've skinned it of its the metaphorical skin holding the song's fantasy together, which I consider to be the droning string in the background that seems intimidating but actually just adds to the atmosphere. The song itself could be interpreted as this part of the game, the low rumbling string being the owner of the cabin and the metaphorical skinning being the discovery of the items hidden around, which make this act easier in certain aspects. As compared to the (Reprise) version, where it's just the bones of what it used to be, no more magic to it, lacking the energy it once had, just the accoustic guitar, alone, in the end. Whereas it played the main melody in this song, it sorrowly reminds itself that its time is over, just craving another moment with song, even if the basic parts that made it recognizable as a song aren't there anymore, (such as the tempo being all over the place) we don't need an orchestra to play a song.
I loved the game but the ending felt it rushed down, the way that the death girl suddenly find those files and deleted everything out or nowhere felt like the developer run out of time and only got time to tease us at the end with a short gameplay of what could be the gameplay with the wizard and the death girl.

Not gonna lie I actually find this to be super relaxing and fall asleep to it sometimes.
I especially love the flute, it sounds very native American inspired and makes me want to check out native American flute music.

I've got a feeling that that is coming, as a beta update (you can get an access code on Mullin's discord server) there's a new rougelike mode now
