Usually when im watching plugin reviews, i have questions as the review goes on, you always seem to answer all the question + the extra tid bits like the size apply after re-opening the plugin. All good to know stuff!

Gosh darn and tarnations! Can't you make more videos that make me NOT want to buy things! Actually, I didn't know before now that the El Rey was ultimately inspired by the Fairchild. Hearing it here, it comes through very clearly. It's a sound that I love on pianos and spoken voice - yours included here, as per your demonstration! - so I'll be trying it out while the version 2 introductory price lasts. Now, I have the strangest feeling that I should be using DistroKid...
Is the transient smearing fixed? Not that it was terrible but it could impact transients in a much bigger way than real tubes do. There were some good A/B audio examples against the hardware in a forum a while back. It does sound really nice on that vocal. Listening on my phone right now so i can't really listen properly. Nice.... acoustica has been cleaning up their aliasing act. I'm not sure about using it on the master bus for material that needs to really pop if transients are still getting a little smeary. On some material It would probably sound great anyway.
it's still not finished, it's mainly for videos but I want to upload it to streaming services when it's done. No real plans to do anything else with it and frankly I dont think i can because of the licenses that came with some of the samples in the track I used.

El Rey is a fantastic Compressor for sure, used the original version a lot and am more than pleased about this free Update.
i own the nebula 4 version by Tim Petherick its very smooth and suuuper warm

It's not a Fairchild emulation, they emulated the Ra6 Compressor/Limiter.

Yeah the Fairlight should be RCA BA-6A, i made a mistake there, but its tube for sure.

On the master it's all realtive. Usually someone slaps a limiter behind it, and that does some transient murdering normally ;-)
