Pretty cool that your curriculum is so similar to mine at Youngstown State University. I just graduated with my Bachelors of Engineering a few days ago lol
At my university I am obligated to take: both chemistry I and II, both physics I and II, Calc I-III and differential equations/linear algebra, both statics and dynamics, mechanic of materials, manufacturing processes (mechanical engineering course), manufacturing processes lab, thermodynamics, both circuits I and II, and circuits I lab. I have to take ALL of these courses to finish my bachelor’s lol. And obviously all of the IE courses.
Do you know what you want to expand into yet or an ideal job you want yet?? OR is incredibly useful especially if you already know the whole software side. I am senior Industrial & System Engineering @ SJSU, We didn't have to take any classes from your list#2 neither Statics nor Intro to Electric circuits. Your school curriculum is really ME class heavy wow. We did have to take Engineering Statistics, most of our courses based on its principles like Probability, Normal Distribution, etc. Although I was ME major before, passed Statics, Thermodynamics no problem, but Dynamics and Fluid Mechanics what made me drop out and switch major

Our whole course is in spanish but we managed to fit in this one with the technicalities in english. What software are you using for that class. Great vid!
Wow, sounds great! Glad to hear you were able to take this. In my class we used Arena. I just looked up FlexSim and it looks much more intricate! The arena version we were using only was processing using basic 2D designs. You could choose different icons etc, but FlexSim looks very interesting.
Kyle Gillis Yeah man! I recommend the 2017 or earlier at first as it gives out an excel sheet with efficiency numbers. It’s something that is lacking on the newer versions without the license...
yeah, dynamics is wayyy harder. At my ME faculty that one is the class where most people fail/drop out. Same thing with Calc 3, at least for me and for many is way harder than Calc 1-2.

Hey bro, I know I'm super late to this video, and seems like to your channel, sadly. But I wanted to clear out a question: Considering my goal and passion is entrepreneurship and business, is Industrial Engineering the ideal option for me? I loved your videos in your channel and hope you come back, you explain everything perfectly! Bonus question: What do you think about the claim that industrial engineering is a business major on steroids?
@@zekis9458 Bro a lot of people actually gave me feedback on this. It's very much related, and the knowledges are vital for business owners. In my case, my goal in life is to have multiple companies and grow them to their full potential. I realized by investigating and asking other people that IE is the ideal major, because it's so broad you can specialize in whatever you want. Are you already in college?
