Always have a spear with when in the water. If you stab the shark in the mouth after it opens and before it bites you then it will drive the shark away for a few seconds. Get the timing right and you should be able to safely get back to the raft almost every time. And always try to craft the metal SCRAP Hook for diving. I can harvest twice as fast . It'll double your resource harvesting in the same amount of oxygen time. thanks for the video. =)
I always carry another spear for emergencies they are always breaking on you afterall. Spears are like toilet paper never be caught without it or you are screwed.

Your door is on backwards Blitz. Press R when building to rotate. Also, when diving, face the shark and stab him as soon as he opens his mouth and he will swim away without hurting you. If you want another raft to visit, mine is available.

I think with the plastic bottle you have to dump it multiple times into the purifier. I noticed it had the gauge still on the bottom of it saying it wasn't empty.

They should add a chumming machine to make shark baits a little easier- and to expand its purpose perchance you fill a metal pail full of chum then chuck it in the water to increase fishing speed? I don't know, just an idea.
Blitz you know you can empty the large water bottle multiple times you only have to fill it up once but you can empty it multiple times without collecting more salt water you just press the on the thing multiple times the purifier

If you want fish for the shark bait you should fish with the regular fishing rod. Because with the metal one you get big fish😉
