I’m a beginner to this. Just watched your video and I followed your steps, especially the lotion and it works! Smoothen my skin evenmore rather than apply it after drying my body.
Thanks for this. I was gifted a body scrub for Christmas and I assumed it was a body wash or some type of lotion. So when I touched it and felt it was rough, I realized I was uninformed on when/how to use it. Very grateful for this video, even the advice on using lotion with wet skin is helpful.

I was feeling really silly for searching up if you're supposed to use soap first or the scrub first, I also never thought about putting on my lotion before drying, it seems so obvious now thank you for the awesome tips

Thank you. I learned something new just now! I always thought that I should exfoliate BEFORE I awash myself with my Body Wash. But I’ve been doing it all wrong! So from now on I’m going to wash first and then exfoliate with my favorite exfoliating scrubber and then moisturizer. Glad I did a search about this!! Thanks again!!! 🥰

I feel like I will take a few hours scrubbing with this Chevy big body.

Thanks for the video. It was helpful. Please I didn't get something right. Do you apply moisturizer or body lotion before wiping yourself with the towel?
What happens to the excess water dripping from your body?
I do, I kinda "squeegee" my body off with my hands first, then go right in with the lotion or oil...it seals that moisture into your skin. I keep my oil right in the shower so I don't have to get out of the warmth of the space after I turn off the water before applying.
Would this work with a homemade sugar scrub?

i have this hemp coconut scrub it’s not like the other scrubs I it’s it’s more like a Sautee texture or a tiger soap texture

how many times should i use shea body scrub in a week?
1-3x - depending on your preference :) Not more than that though.
Hello! Quick question, do you only do a quick rinse when using body scrubs? I used one for the first time today and after the granules were washed off, my skin felt kind of weird and oily and I wasn’t sure what to do. I decided to scrape off the stuff that felt oily and along with the residue came dead skin cells. Was that a mistake to do?/ do you leave that “oily” feeing stuff on your skin and only rinse off the granules when body scrubbing? Thanks a lot!
The oiliness is moisture for your body - if you don’t like it - soap up after your scrub...but I’d suggest leaving it once and see how your skin feels after toweling off!

Typically no! Body scrubs are much more aggressive than a face scrub and could cause tiny tears, you'd really want to stick to something meant for face.
