The only wrong thing that Mokichi did is not going instantly for the K.O, even thought even if he go 100% instantly , Raian phisical prowess is just to high, mokichi simply doesnt have enough raw power to really damage Raian
Raian is way more skilled than Mokichi in general, Bros fate was sealed the minute he stepped into the ring

Thanks to Dr Hanafusa, Robinson survived and came back even stronger. In the Manga he beats Saw Paing to prove how much he had grown in the meantime.

It's all fun and games until Raian decides he doesn't wanna play anymore. Seems like he was still playing around even after he used removal. We haven't seen him in omega for a while, so I think we are gonna see a sick upgrade when he returns 👊😎

Raian is moddled after ryan gracie the black sheep of the gracie family which themself inspired the kures in kengan. Btw irl gracies threw thier babies around threw the air and those who didnt cry were seen as usable.
This battle was so even unto Raian used his removal.

Mokichi was able to take down Raian using skill alone to the point that Raian had to use release. I feel like Mokichi would have gotten further in the tournament if he didn’t have the misfortune of being matched with Raian round 1

logically. Strength and stamina wise of course Raian is so much ahead there is no debate. Regarding actual combat skill (say both are equal physically in strength). Raian is still not the underdog at all consider his background. Both pretty much trains since they can walk. However, even this I would give Raian an edge up because he is training with other member of his family that are all extremely skilled and way more powerful. While Mokichi spent a lot of time fighting regular thugs. Mokichi might be a fighting prodigy, this i think would still put him on par or very close to Raian in terms of pure skill, whether similar or just slightly intuively better. No where near to be able to defeat Raian. It's just a bad match setup. like the other commenter said, the moment he stepped in the ring it was over.
