So tempting 🌸thanks for watching 🤗
❤❤the painted lady..I want one
👌🏽happy shopping
I was watching this video when you put it out and I was getting mad.😀 So many plants I would enjoy having and caring for and I seem to live too far from most places. So I asked my neighbour to drive me to Rice Road and Vermeers and he did yesterday! I drive myself most everywhere but Welland is just so remote I did not want to go alone the first time. It was a lovely drive on the back roads and easy to find, but quite far. My neighbour is not a plant person at all. Found just what I wanted at both places thanks to watching your former videos and I am enjoying all my new plants now. , I am so glad I went but I can clearly see your excellence in making plant videos brings out the best in the greenhouses. Not mad anymore! Part 2 is coming where I tell you what I bought. Evelyn
This is amazing. I love this comment and I am very happy you’re not mad anymore 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Your neighbour is amazing, so kind to take you on a plant adventure. The countryside in that area is so beautiful. When I go that side, I normally go to Rice Road, to then Vermeers and take the country roads over to the watering can. I can’t wait for part two. I’m excited to hear what treasures you found. 🤗🤗🤗
Appreciate your visits to local nurseries and look forward to your next visit especially now that I am avoiding US based Big box stores. Thanks
The local stores are my favourite 👌🏽Thanks for watching.

Part 2. The best thing is it seems the plants I brought home do not have any pests!!! Rice road had the begonias I love, still hanging high up ,covered in dust and they are so large stuffed into very small hanging baskets. You showed them to us, Conchifolia Bull's Eye, and Rex Soli Mulata. Both so very beautiful, I bought 3 . I am planting them in clay pots. The 4 in. succulents were very nice, bought 5 for $20. Bought echeveria pink amazing grace, love it so much. Rice road told me for the winter most of their houses are closed down to save heat. I thought they still had a lovely selection. The staff was very helpful and nice.
Vermeers was in full swing, I bought a lipstick with 15 large groups of buds on it, a large Gasteria little warty, love it, 4 stapelia/huernia, small pots, big plants, 4 different kinds ,each $6. Also found an echeveria raindrops!!!!, 4 in. lush with 35 big red/green raindrops on it, only 5$. To top it off all succulents at Vermeers had an additional 25% of the prices . Can you tell I had a great time? Please take care, Evelyn
Wow, it sounds like you had an amazing plant shopping adventure! I’m so glad the plants you brought home are pest-free, that’s always such a relief. Those Conchifolia Bull’s Eye and Rex Soli Mulata begonias are stunning, and I bet they’ll thrive in clay pots. The Echeveria Pink Amazing Grace sounds gorgeous too 🙏🏽 I love that variety! It’s great to hear Rice Road still had a lovely selection despite the winter closures, and Vermeer’s sounds like it was a total plant paradise, especially with that succulent discount! At Rice Road, you always have to look up 👀there are some gems hiding up in those ceilings. Sounds like you definitely found some treasures! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thanks for watching and the suggestion. I will do that when I purchase plants.👌🏽🫶🌸🌸
I went there this afternoon and was amazed at the selection there.
Plants were amazing and the shop was in amazing condition.
It was pretty busy as well and they pack and protect the plants as well.
I bought a Hoya Lisa and a paraiso verde as well.
No ring of fire there, I asked!!!!😢
Thanks for sharing your plant shopping update today! It’s a shame the Ring of Fire wasn’t available, but at least you found some great treats. Hoya Australis Lisa is an excellent choice 👌🏽you're really putting together a fantastic collection! 🤗
Hope they do well here at my place.
😮 Wow sooo many cuties oh nooo my Wishlist is much longer now...😅 Thank you ! Thats so cool you crab many Plants, I love...😍
You’re welcome 😊🤗🤗🤗
Wow, those lacunosa hanging baskets are crazy, I've never seen anything like that! Thank you for your videos 💕
They were gorgeous 🤩we need to see more Hoya hanging baskets like that🤗thanks for watching 🌸🌸🌸
I love decaryi too. Thank you for showing them. Love your channel; always a treat to find new content on your channel.
Right! There’s something special about the decaryi 👌🏽. Glad you enjoy the channel and welcome 💕🌸
I haven't been back there since before Christmas. I guess it's time to go back! 😂 thanks for sharing.
I think you should go too! 🤣😊🌸thanks for watching 🫶
Great video as always! I went today and the Thai Constellations are down to $25! Wow!
They also had vanilla orchids for $20, and a sign for $10 jewel orchids (sadly empty, but maybe they'll restock?). Love seeing new gems pop up at Valleyview each time I go!
Wow $25 is a fantastic price. Thanks you for the update. I love that they’re always revamping the store and putting out little treats. You can go every week and find something new. Just amazing 👌🏽
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Thenks
👋 thanks for watching 🌸🌸🌸
I like that huge neon yellow green looking plant that didnt have the price tag...its like a variegated philodendron Selloum or Xanadu maybe? Very eye catching! Just love it! ❤️ Mudt be mucho dinero!😂and the hoya Retusa is a good price for 3-4 cuttings for $10 is great, as its not easy to find ...ive been collecting hoyas for their variety in their foliage, retusa I'd like to grow and collect...the hoya blooms are a bonus too! Im collecting them for different colors of blooms.... they're the kind of plants that can grow old with us...a lot of plants are very short lived, but we also can enjoy them when they're thriving with our care however shortlived some if them...when they say you have a green thumb or a black thumb, it doesn't always refer to you as either the best or just killers of plants ... Sometimes its just the type of plant we have, and if they're not in a great environment where we live and care for them, they dont thrive and can easily die in our environment, or lack of the condition we can give them to replicate their natural habitat...we always can learn from the experience....for me its a tremendous joy to experience plants❤❤❤
That’s a great point about the plant’s environment - even the most seasoned plant parents learn from their experiences. With understanding that I’m not bummed out when a plant dies, sometimes it’s just their time. That yellow selloum was awesome 👌🏽happy growing and a great week.
I want a Philo. Columbia! I have never heard of it
It’s a pretty one isn’t it… thanks for watching and happy shopping 🌸🫶
Thanks Belina for sharing I love to see those prices at valley view. I just bought one of those coloured gymnocalycium for $58 and iam seeing them for $10. There.😢
I know the feeling, plant prices are all over the place. 😭🫶🌼🌸
Where is this nursery located ? I would love to get one of those colorful gymnocalycium. I just bought one for $13 at my local nursery, but it's smaller and not as colorful as the ones shown in this video.
The store is located in Markham Ontario Canada. Yes, they have a nice selection. I’m always tempted to buy more gymno’s 🤗. Thanks for watching and full address details is in the description. 🌼🌼🌼🌼
