I literally just came here after listening to Suisei's cover of it 😅 Nothing against her ofc! This one will always be special and unique to me 🧡 Axel's spin on it is like no other. Brings the feels every time too

It’s even more surprising for me because Suisei is actually my Kamioshi and I love nearly all her songs, but I definitely prefer this cover more. It’s just the soft, wispy? way he sings the song, and then that ending… Can’t get enough of that.
the only other cover I adore is Will Stetson's, but that's an english cover

Definitely the best Kyu-kurarin cover out there! Adding so many artistic choices in this with adding Regina at that part to further emphasize the parallels between this song and DDLC and the anguished whisper at the end. I haven't seen ANYONE do this song justice like this. Def needs more views!

I love how the hugging scene is slightly tilted since it looks like alice is crying as she looks up at you. It kind of gives a hopeless "how do i save this girl" feeling that axel often describes. Im sad now.
7 months later and I just keep going back, it's like a daily ritual at this point it's just WAY too good. I think I figured out why it hits different, it's the way you elongate words instead of this harsh stop between words/sentences, it feels like it flows all the way through and it's really nice on the ears
edit: also the way you end and begin words is softer, the transition between them makes for a great listening experience

This cover has literally everything. Like homage to the stuff motivated the original song(which is DDLC), perfect reappearance of the song (I love that Kyu-kurarin has so many layers of harmony lines so vocal kinda sounds like some kind of instrument and Axel caught that so well that he nearly sounds like an accordion in this cover) and some special details he put in the cover for more emotions. If you didn't know about this song and its lyrics I highly recommend listening the original one at least once, it has eng sub and when you know what this song tells you'll love this cover Much more than before you know about it. I'm so proud of you, Axel. You never fails making the cover in the best way possible.

If you're ok with spoilers searching about this song would be helpful(there is a wiki page directly explains about theories), if you're not I'll simply say this song is more about depression than love(still contains both tho)
