Man, this was a great weekend of racing! I had to watch the final heat one more time.
Great coverage this weekend H-1. Thank you Brad, John and Erica and also thanks to all the camera and support staff. And Congrats to JMK on another win at Seafair.
When Brad read off the names of our dear loved legends that have passed made me emotional, they're all racing in heaven.
As they mentioned " you can never count out JMK ! as we all just saw 👍 amazing driver
Thank you for including footage of the air show! Much appreciated! I became a hydroplane fan last year, but I am an aircraft mechanic first and foremost. We watched all weekend, and everything was great!
LOVE THIS! I was in 8th grade and lived right up from the Renton end of lake. Loved the sounds and sights. I was on porch watching as Tex Johnston (name?)fly the new gold 707 from north to my end of lake. 1955 ….He did his famous 360 degree barrel roll straight out from me! I am 83 now, and remember the sight and sound to this day! 😎👌🇺🇸
The KONG broadcast was one the worst I've ever seen. Nate and Kay have no excitement in their voices and ZERO personality. Missed Brad for the Sunday afternoon segment.
@@cecilparadiso8708 Brads the best, for sure, but the king5/kong had FAR better cameras, camera angles, zoom, graphics, stats, info, scenery shots, fans shots, history, more info, better sound, no dead air, no dead shots, and same for the airshow. Hate to say but the H1 was so poor it's as if it's totally collapsed and deserted and Brads holding it all down by himself. I couldn't hear a single word the guy with brad said either. H1 was so bad in comparison that it just doesn't make sense.
In spite of any technical issues, I got to see hydroplanes race, and it was a good one!

Many memories of Miss Pay N Pack from the Dayton Hydrobowl races and always loved the boat as it was so different from so many of the boats.
There was no boat called Miss Pay N Pak. There was the Pride of Pay N Pak and the Pay N Pak, but no such thing as the "Miss Pay N Pak."
Much better coverage than the last week's race for sure. That last start for Tater was a heartbreaker for him I'm sure. If Dustin would have started his charge on the backstretch sooner things would have been very exciting at the start. Killer start for JMK but he almost got run down by that blue and white rocket!!
The water in Washington is as tough as it ever has been. I’d dearly love to see to see a trapazoidal course 2 straightaways and a large wide turn and then a small sharper turn. Anything to give us some competitive potentials for making passes.

There is some real talent behind the drone footage. Great job this weekend. I know there are always complaints but given the lack of resources the broadcast is solid when the drone crew is dialed in. Would love to see an H1 official with access to a mic during heats going forward next to Brad/John to improve communication. Been a problem for years and it’s not a good look needing to have Brad get out of his seat to figure out whats happening live on air. Having an official on standby a la gene steratore for NFL would be helpful and add a layer of professionalism to the broadcast.

H-1 If you want to pull back some of the huge advantage that lane 1 has. Just put the start finish at the end of the straight instead of the mid.
