Thank you for the recognition from someone I do not know but I am new in sobriety I live in the westend of Ottawa and am looking for a male sponser that is clean n sober themselves and has worked the 12 steps and can help guide me in the right direction and I have family in the program but haven't talj to them in a long time and yeah like I said looking to meet some new sober people in my life just shy of 8 months of sobriety! Something that really stuck out for me was what he said while talking about _trusting_ God in addition to having faith in God. Part of my morning ritual is Bible study, and I just happened to land on Psalm 31 this morning.... all about trusting God! I wish I could find a local sponsor like Bob D..
The ego is ALWAYS afraid--it's always in competition for resources for fear of running out. God created it so, so we could survive. It is yet another example of our basic instincts "on steroids." Not literal steroids lol
