    Great videos Graeme, nice to see you’re not scared of giving away your secrets. I live in South Australia, not many Coarse Anglers here, manly ex-pats, I also make floats and appreciate the quality of yours. If I lose one I make four to replace it, I’m addicted, the doctor says there’s no cure, what should I do...

    Top vid my friend. Really enjoyable to watch and learnt loads. Quick question on the fine accent lines using black thread. Could you use a fine tipped sharpie to create those fine black lines as an alternative. Cheers Julian

      @@TheGapinkerton I guess its getting enough marker on to show a strong black line which may take a few coats. Thread give you this in one go.

    Hi Graeme, got most of the way there but I am having trouble with the Indian Ink line, I have left the ink to dry for a couple of days but as soon as I try and lacquer over the top the ink smudges. Do you think it would work if I sprayed with hair lacquer first to seal the ink?

    • @TheGapinkerton
      @TheGapinkerton  5 лет назад

      What kind of Indian ink are you using? I use Windsor and Newton.

    Does anyone know what brand waterborne lacquer I could get in the U.S. that is decent? Everyone here is using spar urethane varnish, or epoxy.
