Very nice job..! Only one tip for better accuracy about the four main turrets, you must trim off the thickness excess from the roof of all them...! Revell Anton, Bruno, Cesar and Dora turrets came wrong moulded from the box are more taller than they should be, I did it on my Revell Bismarck using sand paper 1000 grade, those turret heights are about 11 milimeters so they must be only 10 milimeters to match 3.5 meters height in 1/350th scale, I recommend to purchase a Vernier tool to take your measurements and control your progress while sanding all the roofs, is very easy , stick the sand paper on a table with masking tape and put the turret upside down then with smooth movements press down so slightly and carefuly to achieve the new height of 10 milimeters, Doing this you can fix almost all the unaccuracies on the turrets, another unaccuracy is the length rather they should be more long about 1 milimeter, at first sight they looks more shorter.
Excellent Vid and glad to see your fingers stick to bits like mine !!! Great skill. What glue do you use for Photo etch....and also is the applicator you are using a home made tool and on the market looks a handy thing. My cocktail sticks are not always the best thing. Thanks again. Tim
Thanks Tim. Yes the PE assmbly is a pain and I glue my fingers all the time. Some things can help though. I use gel type superglue (the one I use now bought from The Range if you are a UK resident) which dries slower. Also the gel consistency make it easier to apply it compare to the very thin runny super glue. For application I do not use anything fancy. Just a piece of cylidrical sprue, coil some copper wire and some tape at the end to hold it steady. The copper wire is very thin so the application is very precise. When the wire tip gets clogged with dry super glue I simply cut off the tip and I pull fresh wire at the edge. I hope that make sense and help you :)
What a great Tip I will give that a go for sure brilliantly simple. Been struggling with that as Mid 1/350 HIRYU and lots of railing and I end up pulling them off with my fingers. I will have a look at the range as im in Hampshire UK so there is one not too far away. Thankyou and good luck with the rest of the build will await the next installment with interest.
@@timothymorris814 you are welcome. Good luck with your build as well. In the next video I will try to take a more detailed footage when I install the railings. It is a very fiddly job but I will try my best to film the application.
I do not have a link but I am certain that it only fitted this particular kit. But there is a specific for the Tirpitz. Just search on ebay your model with super detail and you should have dome results back.
I just love classical music. Edvard Grieg ,very fitting especially for this build video of the Bismarck. Damned awesome!!
Thank you for your appreciation. I have criticised in the past but I think it fits the build very much.

Thank you very much for your time pointing this out to me. It is very interesting and I was definitely gonna do it but I already paint the turrets.
nice work, i`m just starting the same kit...!
Thank you😊I hope my video series will help you out. Have fun!

Do you have a link for the upgrade kit ? Does it fit with the revell tirpitz ?
