- What. A. Day! With quiet a few no shows and a bad weather forecast nobody would expect that the Pre 90 Unlimited Bangers Kev Waller Reunion meeting would be contender for best meeting of the year! There were plenty of cool cars and some of the biggest hits we will see this year!
What is Banger Racing?
Banger racing is a tarmac, dirt, shale and chalk track type of motorsport event popular in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. Old scrap vehicles are raced against one another, with the winner being the first to the checkered flag after a set number of laps. Contact to damage an opponent's car is permitted and encouraged within the formula, with cars progressively becoming more damaged throughout an event. Races are held at an oval or tri-oval circuits that are up to 1⁄4 mile (440 yd; 400 m) long; however, on certain occasions, races are held in a figure of eight configurations. Banger racing is often confused with stock car racing, although there are differences between the two, despite often racing at the same tracks. Banger racing is also often confused with Nascar.

Hey my friend.. i love your video's. Too bad for Warneton ( Belgium) . I really loved that track. I don't know your age but with Ruisbroek ( also Belgium) it was the same story. Hi Nick! Yeah i do hope we can get back to warneton but it doesn't look like we will be.. Never been to Ruisbroek as i only found out banger racing is a thing 10 years ago. You should come over to emmens teamrace.
962 did a decent shot on the towncar, it was just unfortunate it got over shadowed by Peach getting folded in half lol

Did you ever get around to doing interviews with drivers this season so far? I know I gave you the idea last year and you said you would get to it this year. Just wanted to follow up to if you have done that at all yet this season.
No, i havent got into it yet. Im struggling lately with motivation to do a few extra things. Its busy at work etc. I still think its a great idea but need some time.
@@AutorodeoNederland if you do some, then get them posted. You would get some views, maybe some extra bank if you get paid from RUclips and then you can buy some beer, tea, vodka, or what ever you drink.

Can someone please explain how a winner is determined? I ask because it seems that drivers voluntarily rear end other cars knowing that they will get sandwiched. Isn't the whole point to be the last car standing? What are the rules of these races? Thanks
Yeah, so basically the last one driving wins and the most important rule is not to Hit another car directly in the drives side
