For Matthew, I think the snowy day is good. But another book he didn't mention is Peter's chair because in that book we meet Peter's new sister Susie. By the way, both The snowy Day was a recommended on Kino's storytime and Whistle for Willie was a read aloud. That book was also on Sesame street.

1 of my favorite books is John Henry an American legend. That's a famous story because it's a tall tale which means that it's not true. But still it's okay. I think people like teachers and students should enjoy the book. If you get both American legends dvd and you classic pixar shorts volume 2 you'll find it neat on there. It shows what it was like. This is also a reminder of the song I've been working on the railroad. (Listen for the instrumental of the song when you watch the Donald duck short Out of Scale).
