The previous safety video was better because it was memorable visually and audibly. It’s those little details that can greatly improve one’s safety in the event of an emergency. This video, while friendly and professional, doesn’t have any of that. It’s kind of forgettable tbh.

Are those the new seats being installed? Very uncomfortable to watch and the employees appear way to robotic and nervous. Bring back the previous safety demo video. It works and didn't need to be fixed.
*update* American is still using the old version safety video, including 321T and 777. This is not a bad safety video. Just the old one is too classic! I think the camera movement on the old one is much more fluid, feeling of storytelling. The new one gives me a feeling of saying a sentence using an hour because there are too many stops between phases, too many people on the camera make my eyes tired, and the background music is a bit noisy.
Imo, it doesn’t matter what video they put out. Critics will be critics (including myself). There WILL NEVER be the right or perfect video. This too will be replaced with another one down the road. The message in hand is the important part. You may like the next video more or not and so forth. 🤷🏻♂️
Delta's after takeoff announcement for years has said, ".. We're honored to be a part of your journey." But it recently changed and they took out the word honor. Maybe this is why 🙄
Sadly I’ll probably never get to see this play on a flight because I mainly just fly domestically and they are in the process of removing all the screens from their domestic fleet

Wow. This new American Airlines safety video is not too bad. Except for the part where all of the cabin crew cannot get enough smiling after the safety video is over.
How does a safety video matter THIS much to you all. It’s meant to be concise, easy-to-understand, and give the work groups representation. It does that. AA didn’t create this with malicious intentions, or know that a pandemic would ruin the industry in a few months time. I’m a furloughed FA, but this video is genuinely less annoying and time consuming than the old one! I support everyone who came together to be involved in this!
This and the old video are literally the same time. It's about generating attention, comfort and branding for the airline. The older video was fine and soothing before you took off. This one, while to the point, is pretty stale in comparison.
how tf does American Airlines can DECREASE in quality while Qantas, Delta, Air Canada, Air France (including AirCalin) and even ANA literally made gorgeous vids
Better than the last one, but still not good. I prefer video filmed an actual aircraft. At least it is only four minutes, unlike other airlines with 6-8 minute vidoes.
