I use duolingo just to maintain touch with the languages. Nothing more, nothing less. The best way to learn a language, in my opinion, is by learning the basics first and then immersing yourself in the language - through audio/video content and/or language partners. More on this when I actually become fluent in a foreign language 😂
Hi, i did 6 months offline batch at goethe institute in which i completed A1, A2 and B1 levels. They have a rule that they never use english in the institute, especially in the classroom. Which was the biggest reason i lost interest in that language. In a1 we used to ask our teacher to explain us all the not understandable words or phrases in english, but they never explained in english instead they used german with some examples to explain them. Other than this everything was great, but all you needed was consistency and hardwork. Today almost 6 months passed and i am still struggling with a1. But atleast i can do self study now, because i now know how and where to start and what has to be done.
So I completed my A1 offline superintensiv course from Pune, and it was suuper fun and also a new experience. It is quite funny but fascinating at the same time that I was 17 and beside me there were peoples with phds and like 30s 40s of age and we all were at the same level, sometimes I help them clearing their doubts and vice versa. Also your line of "Zum bispiel" was relatable, also dont forget "Wir machen eine Pause" that gives all of us chills😆. Finally I completed it with score of 93 in my A1 exam and now its time for A2!
Hi. Good question. I am also looking for this answer so Let's wait for her response. But I believe classes without the teacher will not be as effective as they are with the teachers. The reasons could be that you may not find correction while you practice your language skills. Also, you may miss group language partners too.
Loved the video as I am looking for options to learn German. Just one thing that really gets under my skin (and I have seen many Indians make this mistake): Goethe is pronounced "Guh-tuh" not "Goy-tey" :D
I am studying nursing so my time will be a little problem because there is night duty and day duty so I want to know how many hours are taught and can I study online at Goethe Institute? And how many years will it take to learn from A one to B2 and how much money will it cost? To learn each lesson A1-B2?
I am going to start the german A1 language next month , 13 th of july , offline course it is , in delhi ! Any tips 😆it is a 5 months long course , sat to Sunday !
Hey! I have a question about the classes.. 0:01 you have added a clip of the class with your cameras on. Is it mandatory to turn on the camera for the classes? I want to ask this because i will have to attend classes while travelling my way back from college..
Hey :) Yes, it’s important to switch on the cameras. It’s like an unspoken rule. You can excuse yourself sometimes by explaining your reason but not always. It’s not a hard and fast thing btw. The teachers are flexible on this.
Hey somya, thanks for the informative video. Which city branch of goethe did you take online classes in?. Also how long will it take me to complete A1 and A2 from goethe(without superintensive classes) , consider me dedicated towards the language learning
hi surmai i wanted to know that is the A1 exam fees included in the teaching course fees itself or we have to purchase it separately and one more thing if I join a private tutor then how much should it cost me and how long will it take for me to learn german till B1 level? very helpful video btw :3
Hi Naman. No the exam fee is not included. I don’t know much about private tuition. They differ is cost from company to company and probably region to region as well. Similarly for reaching B1 as well. It depends if you are studying 2 hrs daily or 4 hours daily… or you are taking weekend classes. AFAIK, if you do super intensive courses then it will take ~6-7 months to reach B1.
@@surmai-somya 1st word. i need insurance of my teeth and tongue before my vehicle liability insurance. 2nd word: i never wanna go to do ausbildung in matchbox company and for sure i will never touch cigarette where matchbox is needed..3rd word believe me i tried, but the workers of the workers compensation insurance act told me ''beta tumse nehi ho paega''🤣

Yes they do prepare us for the exam. They discussed ~3 past papers in the course
Super Danke
Is this organisation well recognised??
Just wanted To know because need A1 certificate to move out from india.
Yes, it is well recognised
good video
Is A1 enough?? What about A2
It really depends on why you want to learn German. In my case, yes I have to continue with A2. Will post more about it once I am done :)
