This week Trucker Tim came to deliver our new 4 wheeler Scania Tipper. He gave my son a go in his lorry for an early birthday present and some goodies to. I finally got my new BF Goodrich tyres fitted too!
Ended the week shifting machines about in our own lorry!
Next purchase trailer for the new lorry so can move your digger about one smooth movement to jobs when tipper required aswell 👍🏼

Wow this is so amazing, the backdrop of the yard is wonderful.
A video I would really like to see and would be of definite interest, is what is actually involved with running a lorry in the uk from the perspective of a groundwork’s and civil engineering company. Mainly with regards to moving plant (tippers would be of interest too) and potentially even into the details of what size lorry’s required for say a 140 compared to a 6 or 8 tone machine and also all the different licenses like operator’s license, hgv ext… that are required. Being completely new to lorry’s it seems an absolute minefield of what’s actually required /needed. With the cost of transport it’s definitely something we are looking into and I would like to know more about.

You are always a busy girl Amy , nice small truck, people saying tarmac potholes!! No way! Machine’s are expensive and dirty work, I done it for local council for two years and a right pain with traffic lights, using tarmac before it goes cold , great shout out for the drink! I was addicted to red bull working nights on sea defence work, anyway I got diagnosed with diabetes so had to stop them , it took a month to ween off of them , but feel so much better, blessings to you and the family. Hope you have a great week

I never get bored of watching tyre fitters, even now in my 60's. Busy week again and what a good lad trucker Tim is, shame you had a couple of difficulties with the new truck perhaps its worried about the cold as its not use to being that far north. 😂🤣👍

That pickup certainly needed top grade tyres. Take note 'Chelsea tractors' of london, this is what real usage looks like.

Can't beat a Sunday morning with a coffee and the digger girl great video again Amy and I must agree with you on energy drinks I've switched to sugar free ones and strawberry is always my go to especially McDonald's milkshake 🤤🤤. With bf tyres I rota them and the last longer swap front to back and back to front deffo get more mileage that way again thanks for a great video

Nice little truck you got there. You need to disconnect the backup alarm though, that noise is annoying. Does it have a Sisu engine in it? That engine sounds a lot like the Sisu engine I have in my tractor...

Hope u got an alignment done on your jeep seeing the wear was mostly on the inside of the tyres . Believe it should be done at least once a year. Great video video as usual . Nice tipper truck. Good luck with it . 👍🏻
You can get it done, come out, hit a pot hole, go off road then it’s out again 😅

For 70k those tyres have worn well. I got to about 60k with mine on the 110 before swapping out for more BFG ATs

Amy hi I'm Geoff from Australia, I've just watched your video on getting new tyres. I've been in the tyre industry for 47 years I didn't see them do a wheel alignment on your video. I can only hope they did and you didn't show that part of it. If they didn't they should have because the front two tyres were badly worn on the inner edges. Absolutely love your RUclips channel..

Very tidy tipper for it's age as working lorries tend to get a bit of abuse!, thank goodness it was just low on fuel and nothing serious as modern lorries can be very expensive to repair!
Digger girl why don't you and your dad purchase a tarmac machine to do the roads and then purchase a tamper to properly finish the holes. Then it would help to fill in the holes by laying the tarmac
Tarmac is something we stay away from, we very rarely do it and pass it on to the ones who have all the right equipment for it. Would be handy though 😅

Tim is such a great guy. Yea I do actually prefer manual, automatic is nice also just not so much for these roads 😅
Yep the auto box is nice for a long run but nothing like having the manual when you need it. We have plenty of similar narrow roads around the West of Ireland
