Jenson Button passes Marcus Bicknell, Velocity Invitational Group 1 qualifying, Sonoma 4 Oct 2024

At the Velocity Invitational classic car event at Sonoma near San Francisco on Friday 4 Oct 2024, us Group 1 1948-1956 sports cars and road racers are out for qualifying in 95 degree heat. Jenson Button is driving his ex-Fangio Jaguar C-Type Le Mans as he come up form the rear on Marcus Bicknell driving, by comparison, a junk-yard dog, Rob Manson's 1952 Streets Manning flathead-V8 Special. Nice view of Jenson sliding the Jaguar round the 2-apex hairpin on the way back to the start-finish. Jenson finished on pole and Marcus 3rd.
