sign d howard as a backup. he is old but still has some gas in the tank. he is great injury insurance for williams and can still give you 15 to 20 minutes per game of high level defense and rebounding.
Hornets had no reason to risk anything. We’d sit him for nothing. I feel like he hasn’t been as seriously injured as much as his playtime shows. Also he’ll be way more motivated on top of having a significantly better medical team. I’m betting he’ll work out for them.
