Whatever someone had to pay to attend this performance -- they sure got their moneys worth. And to think that we can enjoy it for free. This is true entertainment. Delightful.
If I could add something to the ending, at 7:26 when the entire cast sings, they should take out handkerchiefs and dab at their eyes, pretending to cry...it is a happy, schmaltzy ending after all! This remains my absolute favorite of all the operettas I've seen the VBC perform. Sadly the group no longer performs operettas. The VBC had been ruined.
