I'm looking for some waterproof pants from Dainese, I have pretty skinny legs and like a slim/skinny fit. Which pants do you think would offer the slimmest fit? Also would the zipper on these textile pants match with the zipper on my racing D1 leather jacket or do they only match with the textile jacket zippers? Thanks!
All Dainese pants and jackets with waist zippers are compatible, so these pants will zip to your Racing D1. The Carve Master and Travelguard Pants are about the slimmest Dainese offer that have removable thermal liners. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-carve-master-2-gore-tex-pants *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-travelguard-gore-tex-pants
Both have similar thermal liners, so they are the same for warmth. Functionally, the difference is the bigger vents and removable Gore-Tex liner with the D-Explorer Pants. -DrewZilla
I am almost as tall as HVB, but 45 pounds less, according to the size chart it would be size 50. I wear size 48 Dainese jackets (D cyclone and Carve Master). I am afraid size 50 would to big, I like a snug fit. Any recommendations?
Yes, Dainese uses the same gauge zipper between the two. If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to our Gear Geeks at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride safe, -Pat
The Carve Master 2 Pants use Dainese's D-Stone and Mugello fabric, which are a step up from the main Quickdry and Duratex fabric used for the Travelguard Pants. Otherwise, they both have thigh vents, removable thermal liners, and the same armor. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-carve-master-2-gore-tex-pants *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-travelguard-gore-tex-pants
They are similar enough I wouldn't recommend switching unless you are really in need of a new pair. There's a little extra reinforcement applied to the inner thigh and a redesigned seat area, but the core functionality is almost identical. -TeamZilla Chris

Any point buying these over the Dainese travelguards I currently have or are they pretty much the same?
