We have four 90cm Mastercools, they've been amazing. Had a mate that built a new home last year and installed two LG Signature fridges and said ours didn't even come close to the tech or efficiency. Both failed in Dec 2020. Lol. Suffice it to say, he was refunded and bought two Mastercools. Granted a bit pricey here in Australia, but worth every penny! Excellent reviews on your videos! Great job mate!
Doing a kitchen remodel now, I want to go with this Miele, but the storage is an issue for me. It holds less than 20 cu ft, which is really lacking. The Cafe fridge I am also eyeing holds 27.8 cu ft, that's a large difference in storage. Unless you plan to have a beverage fridge somewhere else in the kitchen, the limited storage space in this Miele is a deal breaker for me.
Correct the 36" built in refrigerators are a little tight on space and I would recommend having a secondary refrigerator if you have a family! They are a more custom built-in look than the cafe but the Cafe Freestanding will give you the space you need! Good luck on your renovation!! I checked out your website for the Miele refrigerator door panels, but I could not find any. Where can I get that nice & shiny white panels shown in this video? Where do people mostly get their panels?
When (which year) did Miele update their Master Cool series?
Hi thanks for reaching out, you would purchase those panels from your local cabinet shop! You would make them to the specific refrigeration units specs!
Miele formerly were re-branded BSH in NA and Liebherr in EU. Is this still true? If not, is this full in-house design, engineered and produced like their other appliances? Is this Energy Star compliant? We’ve been considering SubZero and Liebherr Monolith. The former we’ve had for over 20 years w/o a single service call. The latter has a lot of innovative features and is quietest and highest energy efficiency according to EnergyStar. Our kitchen is full Miele, a refrigerator from them would be a no-brainer if it’s comparable quality and efficiency. Our experience w/BSH products has been very hit & miss. Thanks
Some of that statement is correct. Miele and Bsh bought their cases from the same manufacturer however, the electronic components are different. Miele has made their own electronics. Sub Zero is a fantastic product they have two series and which series you choose depends on the look and style you are trying to achieve. If you or anyone in your family is on the shorter side the Miele, bsh, and sub zero designer series have compressors on the bottom making the shelving a bit higher up. If this is the case look at their classic series. Hope that helps answer your questions.
@@MARSILLIOSAPPLIANCETVBBQ Yes, thank you that does help some. I’m 6’3”, my partner is 5’10”, neither of us are vertically challenged😉. Even when my grown kids come to visit, my son is 6’4 and daughter is 5’11”.
Appears I was misinformed on Miele refrigerators, we’ve chosen Miele appliances because of the reliability and features, largely due to full in-house designs. My partner does all the cooking thus when she wanted a steam-convection oven, Miele offered the largest, hard-plumbed available with control menu she really liked.
You never mentioned Liebherr Monolith, it’s energy efficiency is remarkable compared to SubZero. My partner loves the even lighting and it’s quietness given our open floor plan that has lots of “kitchen entertaining”. Do you have any experience with this refrigerator-freezer? We’re looking at the 36” fridge and 24” freezer combo. Thanks again.
It is the worst fridge I have ever bought. Its garbage. Go Sub Zero or go cheap..................
