I feel like after a lifetime of Disney Magic, seeing the behind the scenes doesn’t “ruin the magic” for me as an adult, it kinda creates magic, I love learning about things
It’s beautiful to see Walt’s visions not just come true but continue into the future. A company with such values creates leaders that carry and further the vision. I just went to Disney Epcot for the first time at any Disney park, they can honestly double their cost and people will still pay for the experience 😂
Thanks again Fry Bucket! Back when I was a cast member (1984), there was one generic cafeteria. No Subway!! And no one was allowed to take costumes home. I worked 20,000 Leagues, and had to turn in my costume every time I worked. Like you, this kind of thing is very interesting to me, and actually makes me appreciate the magic more! More former cast member videos!! Keep 'em coming!
I remember! I worked at Pecos Bill & the Mile Long Bar! You're right! We weren't allowed to take our costumes home! For me, WDW was a great first job to have!
another magical thing @ 1:34 mark those individual red "concrete" slabs .. . they can be replaced in one night starting around 12am after park has closed .. if any section of disney park needs replacement .. crews will dig up do the dirt . and pour the red concrete . and by 9am guest will be able to walk on it without even knowing that just 8 hrs ago the section or even 2 sections was torn up , 6" down to dirt , refilled with the red stuff and hardened before 1st guest walks on it at 9am when park reopened
This is the first behind the scenes vid I've watched. Thanks for explaining how the legendary "underground" tunnels were created. When I was a freshman at McMaster U. in '86. (Yes, I'm old.) There was a legend of an underground network of tunnels linking the whole campus. Never found it, but my freshman locker in the Engineering bldg basement was beside a security gate for the campus nuclear reactor. (yup) One day, it was open and I totally took two unauthourised steps into the reactor proper, then stepped back before I got a Karen Silkwood shower! Behind the scenes is always a trip to crazytown that the people in suits wish we didn't take. Excellent vid, as always.
From another former cast member. There is another secret utilidor that nobody really knows about (other than cast members who work in the area). It's at the Transportation & Ticket Center.
Hubby did the CP in 2001. Re: your comment about seeing things you'd never think you'd see - He said he saw two princesses in partial costumes making out in the lunch room.
I saw cast members with those black rolling luggage bags in Epcot by Journey Into Imagination. First time I had ever seen it. And now I know for sure who they were
I have heard that the utilidors have an awful odor - is that throughout the whole thing? Even in the cafeteria and in the areas where they invite vendors?? Are CM required to eat down there or are they allowed to eat at a restaurant at MK (if not in costume of course… but the CMs who are just wearing name badges)?
The underground complex was built on ground level and the dirt they dug from the huge lake that was created, was used to cover it all making it now the basement. Must have been a lot of dirt they dug out to create the lake. When looking back at the front, you can see the castle is on a hill.
Is there a RUclips rule that every video with a 'secret' needs a thumbnail with the creator making a 'shhh' motion with their index finger? Or, perhaps all of these creators are former librarians?
The trash collection system is NOT connected to individual trash cans. CMs collect the trash from each can around the park then take the filled rolling trash bin to one of several locations around the park where they put the trash into the collection system and every so often the system sucks the trash through large pipes in the utilidors to a compactor.
This is really interesting, for me the magic isn’t ruined. I just think it enhances the magic, I heard about something very interested because I’m interested in professional and broadcasting equipment for radio and TV and I heard that Walt Disney World has spare equipment for broadcasting and they have every brand you can think of every type when DJs come or any broadcasters come and let’s say their equipment breaks down the Disney parks have them covered, I thought that was very interesting.
I think the parties was probably the least well known fact you gave! People are waiting in line at Disney not knowing a party may be happening underneath them 😅 Also, thank you for not showing exactly where these entrances are. Not that they're easy to get into, but it's no secret some people have broken into the tunnels before. No need to increase it by making a video showing exactly where to go!

The real magic is the human brilliance and ingenuity!
SAME

I loved the Keys to the Kingdom tour!! So much history, knowledge, and of course the utilidors! Cast members really are the best!!
I love these glimpses behind the scenes. Thank you!
wear they keep the kids

My sister and I did the Keys to the Kingdome tour and we learned so much and part of the tour was a short tour of the tunnels! Pretty cool!
The creators of that place absolute mad geniuses
Thanks, always loved taking the tour.

Ever since reading the Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Pearson, I have always wanted to visit the utilidors
From another former cast member. There is another secret utilidor that nobody really knows about (other than cast members who work in the area). It's at the Transportation & Ticket Center.
There is another one also very secret that no one knows about. It is under the bathrooms with a corridor that leads to a room.
@@venisani8871 which bathrooms? TTC or somewhere else?
I had no idea about the tunnels!! Thank you for sharing.
Loved the video and this channel! Keep up the good work! ❤

The tunnels are not a secret to anyone who watched The Muppets at Disney World. As a child, I assumed Gonzo was walking around under my feet.
"Love in a Laundromat" school gets stuck in my head. You can watch the whole special on RUclips. I showed it to my kids this year.
@@kitter381 the fact that it’s on RUclips means absolutely no one has an excuse for not seeing it at this point!
love learning disney secrets! this is so interesting
What camera do you use for vlogging?

We were at Magic Kingdom last week and I thought there was an odor when we rode the Magical Carpets. Now I know
Thanks for the video, can you do one where you all meet characters and rides? Just taking two kids and want to see if it’s doable in one day
Oprah did a special about 20 years ago from Disney that showed the tunnels, might be on youtube somewhere.

Very interesting. I would love to tour around down there

I always hear about the Magic Kingdom utilidors but no one really talks about the Epcot ones.
I’m pretty sure the Muppets were in the Epcot tunnels.
The new little graphics you've got of peoples faces are cool
my favorite time of the week.

Fry videos can’t ruin the magic. They make their own magic.
Great vid! Can cast members that do NOT work at parks get access to The Utilidors, separate from a tour?

The Disney FBI will be after Fry after this video...
Disneyland and Disney studios always had the tunnels.
Fry Bucket is a baller. Shot caller!
Ya know, for most people 'FB' means Facebook .. .. Not me .. .. ♥♥♥
I've got plenty of pics and I've never been a cast member. 😮
Can you talk about Club 33
nice job.
I'm sure you will see things that you didn't really want to see under there
SPOIL ME ! Well done ! I’ll subscribe

Utilidors are not secrets. Take Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour and you can see them.
You want a real secret wait until you hear about bo strings attached vouchers
Were there children involved? Disney needs to be shut down.
Who washes the costumes lol
Staff in the costumes dept
I know it's true but I can handle it anymore 😑🥹 God bless everyone 🙏❤️🔥💯
