Amazing landscapes and a lovely place to kayak/camp. My daughter is moving to Scotland, from England, in the next few weeks. I’m very much looking forward to visiting her - with my kayak in tow of course!
'Good morning, good afternoon'......you'll have to throw a 'g'day' in there at least once! Absolutely love the scenery and what a beautiful place to have camped. If I get the chance to do one overnight paddle when I visit Scotland, this might be it. Thanks and cheers.
Gday, thanks for the comment... watch out for the next video and I'll be sure to drop that in! I'm glad that I've highlight a wee spot for you to camp... just watch out for the time of year you camp...the midge can make it really bad, really bad. Cheers James
That moonrise was breathtaking and the scenery, wow! Thank you for sharing. You're a Loch Lomond womble, even if you don't make use of all the things you find... apart from your sunglasses, and NOT finding midges 😅 Thanks again x
Well, mate, first things first: that little motivational talk was just what I needed to hear today. Thanks!! That site was truly gorgeous-unfortunate how it was “over-loved”-but appreciate you doing your part to clean up and spread the LNT word. Maybe post a few flyers in the local pubs advertising a clean-up day, with a prize for the most rubbish retrieved-a pint of your favorite refreshment. Might even make a few new friends! Dinner: Yum-yum! 😁 Maybe some dried red pepper flakes next time? A bit of heat is always welcome, and pepper flakes travel well. Always in my spice bag (or as we used to call it, the “Food Repair Kit”🤣). Breakfast looked yummy, too. Thanks for the maps. 👍 Loved the time lapse moon rise. I’ve learned to being an eye mask-amazing how bright it can get in the tent, eh? Nice job on the tarp! So satisfying, isn’t it? Glad you found your sunnies! Thanks for another beautiful video, James! You are truly fortunate to have that in your back yard. Hold onto that sense of gratitude and enjoyment of life’s offerings; surely, that’s one of the keys to a lifetime of happiness. Cheers, my friend!
Brilliant Frank, I'm so glad I hit the spot for you. Good motivational stuff! WRT cleaning up. I have a wee project planned for next month. There's some 50+ shopping trollies that have been thrown into a local river. I'm planning with other to get them out so watch out for that coming. You are not wrong with the light and the full moon. I stirred during the night, woke, and thought it was day time. Surprisiging how much light it give off. Catch you soon. Thanks a bunch Frank!
I will be making a trip over with the tent and canoe. I will be taking a bin bag with me to clean up. Maybe could organise canoe/camp clear up on the islands. It irritates me folk do this.
That's a good idea - it would need a lot of coordinating and to coincide it with good weather. As it happens I'm organising a clearing of trollies (shopping) from the river Forth next month as there must be over 50 in the ares of Stirling bridges. Cheers James
@@JamesFleming888 I agree, the great Scottish weather can scupper a good idea. If you can put a video out when u have a date for the trolley collecting, I’ll try and make myself available.
