- Bronny James’ freshman year at USC began with a terrifying scene at a summer practice when he collapsed due to a heart defect. James missed the few first weeks of the season before eventually returning to play, but by that time the Trojans were already off to a rough start. He never looked fully comfortable on the court, and ended the year with limited production in a small role off the bench. During the spring, he surprised the nation by entering the transfer portal and declaring for @NBA draft. It's important to understand the difference between wingspan and standing reach when comparing basketball players. While wingspan measures the distance from fingertip to fingertip with arms extended, standing reach measures the length of one arm extended upwards from the armpit to the tip of the fingers. Bronny's standing reach is 8'2.5" and Donovan Mitchell's is 8'1", giving Bronny a 1.25" advantage. This reach advantage can be significant in contesting shots, dunking, and rebounding. A longer-standing reach allows for more effective play above the rim and can be beneficial in defending and rebounding. Therefore, Bronny's arm-length advantage may make him more effective in certain aspects of the game compared to Donovan Mitchell's wingspan advantage.

But let’s go down the list of why JJ is top 5-10 on the Duke list; National College player of the year, 2x ACC player of the year, 2x All-American, 2x first team all ACC, most career points ACC, most tournament points ACC history, most consecutive free throws made in the ACC, ncaa record for 3 pointers made (at that time), and the no 4 is retired. Bronny actually measures taller than Donovan Mitchell in the measurement department. Bronny barefooted measured at 6'1.5" and with shoes on that would put him at 6'3.25" meanwhile Donovan Mitchell measured at 6'1.25 barefoot and 6'3" with shoes so that kills that narrative that he is too small for being two guard. Guys do your homework and stop putting out false narratives for clicks or whatever your agenda is. If you going to be a be reputable channel give us factual information that we can trust not lies or false information.
What part of making a comp to Donovan Mitchell is a false narrative? We never gave any measurements on Donovan Mitchell, pause. We mentioned he’s smaller than we thought, which he is. Take the displaced energy somewhere else fam.

When someone points out facts to you especially when you insinuate that a certain player is too small or he is smaller than Donovan Mitchell. One of your members did say Michell was 6'3" but that measurement is in shoes not barefooted. While you said Bronny was only 6'1" so when you compare players be fair about the comparison on equal footing because that is how a false narrative gets pushed out. Now everybody that listened to you thinks Bronny is 2 full inches shorter than Donovan Michell when in fact he is not. Bronny has several attributes that give him an advantage metrically over Donovan Mitchell. Those are the facts you can like or whatever but you should embrace it. Why? Just like I looked up you could have too instead of talking about stuff that you are unclear about. Do your homework and you can present the material accurately. Learn to eat the criticism when you are factually wrong and you will last in this RUclips business.
