The game looks great, the problem is they don't usually last very long and you are not going to play it again once you beat it. Still the mechanics seems very interesting
the good thing is that its great on the go, i see myself playing this on the switch if it doesnt cost too much and i just wanna something new to play
The thing is, games like this last a lot longer than most movies and are much cheeper in price. $10 for a game that's 8 hours long is better than $15 for a movie that's 2 hours long.
That's the thing, though. Most people want more than a portable movie. People want replayability especially if the asking price is steep.
No, but most people expect to pay less for a short game than a long one, often much less. The real breaker would be the price.
Also movies can generally be watched for much less than $15 if you're willing to wait until they're available on video on demand.
That's why I end up buying this kind of games on PC. 12€ now on Steam, while on eShop it's 15€. Maybe in a year Steam even has it for like 50%. For games I don't plan to play on the go, I don't mind buying them on other platforms.

The game is a amazing puzzle game and interacts with the environment of the game.
Interesting. I wonder how much replay ability it’ll have but the art and music sound amazing. It’s seems like the kind of game you play when you’re in the mood for it.

Logic Puzzler... i like it. But why i feel this would fit better on the 3DS?
Probably because it seems to have a lot to do with moving the frames as in 0:35 which would definitely work better for 3ds where you have the touchscreen.

The Switch has a touch screen as well. Maybe the reason would be more that the controls seem really simple, since it looks like the player is just moving frames around to solve a puzzle. If anything, this game would be perfect for iPhones and Androids since all they have is touch controls.

Or he doesnt have a Switch. Thats probably why he doesnt know it has a touch screen. Im pretty sure almost every Switch owner knows it has a touchscreen.I own a Switch and ive known it had touchscreen since day 1.

It reminds me a bit of David Weisner's recent app called SPOT where you can zoom in and peruse a whole world of people, animals and objects within people, animals and objects. Scenes within scenes within scenes, all building into a larger narrative... I'm curious to see how this game does.

This is now the fifth time I watched this trailer
For some reason I thought of that moment in SVTFOE. "bring me that apple"
That was game of the day on the Apple’s appstore recently. It’s a very original and fun puzzle game. People with a sensibility for artistic beauty will most likely love it like I did. That being said, I wouldn’t pay more than what it currently costs on the appstore (~USD $5). I completed it in 2 to 3 hours (some people say only an hour). I love that this is coming to the switch but I won’t be buying it again.

Bought it on a whim. I was thinking it'd be a simple and fun puzzle game. What I got was an amazing game requiring four dimensional thinking from me, with an astonishing art design, and a story that breaks your heart once you understand what it's been all about.
This game shows that yer, games can be art and still remain, well, games. Things you play, solve, go through and feel accomplishment at the very end. Probably my game of the year, even with Zelda and Mario on my mind.
The game is awesome, the art and story is beautiful and touching, but it just doesn't offer enough. One hour of gameplay only, yet it's priced the same as games guaranteed to give you many hours of fun like Stardew Valley, Golf Story, Steamworld Dig 2. $15 is a huge markup for the original price of $5 on iOS, it's kinda insulting. I would be happier if it costed arround $9.
But yeah, this at a 50% sale is a must get.
So it's a matching puzzle game? I do love a puzzle maybe after Christmas I'll get it, still got a lot of gifts for people I still haven't got,also got a ton of games to finish like the new Zelda DLC which I sadly haven't had time for.
