    I love your work! What a great way to reuse styrofoam and cardboard. Can you sit on these rocks? What’s the weight bearing like?

    • @fauxrock
      @fauxrock  3 дня назад

      Well, thank you very much for your very kind feedback. I really do appreciate you watching my video.
      The weight can vary depending on the formulation of your mixture, but just using the regular store-bought premix mortar that I used in these videos I think the rocks came out around 40 pounds. And yes these rocks can take a lot of weight and will last a long long time they’re very secure and structural.

      Remember, it’s best to leave that on for an hour or so and let it dry just a little bit you’ll get a better texture. Don’t forget not to leave it on overnight. It’s a bugger to get off.

    So is the finer sand for the outer splatter better for smoother? Or does it matter what size sand particle if you scrape and sand off the outside?

    • @fauxrock
      @fauxrock  3 месяца назад

      To create a smoother texture, you would do two things one use a finer sand to make your mix a little more liquid. To make a mix that will create a rougher texture use larger size, sand, and dryer mix the thicker the mix the more coarse the texture becomes. Thanks for watching my video.

As someone who has lived around blackberries I know they will continue to expand their territory if not blocked or regularly cut back, and the bigger their territory gets the more likely they are to become a place for rodents to infest, better to keep a small controlled patch.

      I use a proprietary formula that I have developed, which I only disclose to people that purchase/attend a hands on training courses or who purchase my 15-day synthetic rock DVD training course (download version)

      I have scouring the internet looking for your DVD series mentioned here. Where can I find information about it?
      Very interested in taking this class.

    $80 for a snag on a swim suit, unreal. Did you pay her? Did you return to knock the edges down more? Was that when you started using the grinding disk to knock it down a bit? interested to know @fauxrocktraining

      WTF is a “briggler?” And where TF do you get certification? Because tinkerer is the closest definition I can find that makes sense and I don’t know where to get tinkerer certification, but would like to know where and how…. and if that ain’t it I want to know what you’re doing….

      @@Rick_Sanchez_C137_ So, you have to know a Certified Briggler to start and they/we are a fast-approaching-extinction species. Briggling came to US from NW europe/Brittania; it is learned at the foot of Master Brigglers, as an internship. I learned from my Irish GF years ago. Good luck learning to briggle.

      The is “looks like”. Keep in mind this is still a ham manipulated process, which holds no candle to a molded rock as you’re not trying to simulate you’re copying replicating whatever time you want to use.. thanks for your positive feedback and I really appreciate you taking your time to watch my video

      Actually no one‘s told me I look like Gary Busey since I was about 14 they always told me I look like Nick Nolte… Years ago that was pretty cool, but neither one of us is looking all that good these days.
