  • In this tutorial I will show you how to create a beaded cuff bracelet. We will be working with multiple base wires. I will show you how to create several weaves, create the focal point using the base wires and how to capture accent beads. Lastly I will show you how to create an anchor point for your clasp and chain.

    The thumbnail was pretty but when I saw that bracelet in your hands..OMG...unbelievably gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing! It's stunning! I need to find some copper beads..none of my local stores have them so I need to place a wire orders soon. I'll also check ur site, if you are in USA so the shipping won't be outrageous I'll order from you! 😁!

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  Год назад +1

      Thank you ever so much!! I do both, copper beads and wire. For orders under a certain amount the shipping is fairly reasonable as I use standard shipping. You might get what you are looking for locally as that would probably be faster as I am in the UK.

They don't carry those in the jewelry shops down here & even if they have them in their online store they look lower grade. It'd be awesome to find a smaller business that focuses on this area to support too! 😁👋🏻

    gorgeous design! when completed, how large is this cuff when complete excluding chain? Am going to give it a try, but want it to fit my wrist. Thx so much for your fabulous tutorials!

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  Год назад +1

      This cuff was for a small wrist (16 cm) circumference but with a chain you can extend it considerably. The pattern wouldn't reach around the wrist as much if it is larger wrist. You could always add a cm per cm of increased wrist circumference. Remember, though, that the Greek key, would need 3 cm added per cm of increased wrist circumference as the wire is folded over three times. Hope this helps :)

    An amazing tutorial. Thank you for sharing. Should the wire be all dead soft?" Is the tutorial for sale separate from the kit?

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  Год назад

      Yes, all wires are dead soft for this but you could use half hard, if that is all you have on hand. I have a PDF tutorial for this but I have to finish editing it. You can find it in my shop next week :)

    I've been practicing the center pattern for about a week and I think I'm finally ready to attempt to create a usable length. However I'm so unsure how long to make it! My final length will be 7 1/2 inches. Can you help me along with that? The beads on each end makes it hard for me to estimate. I LOVE this pattern. It will be a challenge, but I'm up to it.

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  Год назад

      Thank you Mary. For the central part for this bracelet you would need a much longer piece of 1 mm (18 ga) wire than for the rest because you are 'folding' the wire over multiple times. I think the measurement I have used was 45 cm (17.7")for the central pattern. I would add and extra inch of 18 ga wire per extra 'fold' if that makes sense and then have around 4" sticking out at each end to have enough wire to create a loop and finish off the piece. Hope this explains it all!

    I will be making this for a larger wrist. How do I estimate how much wire to cut for the core element? Thank you.

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  Год назад +1

      Each of the 'folds' takes up about 3.5 cm or so depending on how big your folds are. I would cut a test piece, measure it, make a fold and measure it again to see how much wire it used.

    Dang mine didn't look anywhere as near good as yours did. my loops wouldn't close and they kept overlapping with the previous ones even though I put the extra bend between them. grrr. I guess I have to keep practicing.
