Remember I when I was in little in late 90s going with to funco land my dad bought this game brand new we go funco land every time new one Madden game come out my dad's ps1 disc drive died in 2002 my dad upgrade to ps2 Madden 2003 was first Madden game we got for ps2 that year

Hate to say it, but this was a vast improvement from Madden 98 because the Saturn was no longer holding EA back. I still question that secondary Hitachi SH-2 chip would've made a difference if used properly. Nerd talk. LoL

You know you can download it from an emulator for free or from PC for free you don’t need to pay for it it’s legal now

@Definitely NOT DB Cooper have you seen other '99 titles from EA Sports? NFL for example? Even NBA live 99 had better textures. You might even want to try PGA Tour 99.
Look at this Madden game. They are so pixelized and the character models are all bad.
And need I remind you that Final Fantasy VIII was released in 1998 as well?
@Definitely NOT DB Cooper nah. There is ridiculous clipping problem in Madden 99. NHL 99 is much better in graphics dept. Stop making excuses for a 1998 game.
It was the first 3D transition they made. They were still figuring it out.

Each sport has a development team.
Madden 97 and 98 looked worlds better than this one. All of the players look like blobs running around in Madden 99.
