Despite being famous for they're stop motion film's, i enjoyed they're animatedted films like the Hobbit and TROTK and WITW and the catchy songs and even being faithful to the books...i miss them!
Some of the best-drawn weasels in animation of the 20th century. It's like this and Animals of Farthing Wood are the only ones I know of that even got remotely close to correct?
I like how reading his mail is okay, but using his stationary ("Egad! it's engraved!") or telephoning long distance is not. Guzzling his wine and swizzling his gin is fine, but drinking his port or playing snooker on his table is not.
You should see the weasels in the Disney version (the adventures of Ichabod and mr. Toad); not only they framed Mr. Toad in that version but they also took over the entire Toad Hall in a trade. Plus, their leader in the Disney version is a villainous human barman called Mr. Winkie.
Long distance has an extra charge, case in point if you are in america and call a company in lets say france, youll get a high charge tacked onto your bill
This rwfwrence had more relevance before internet communication was common for the average person. I remember as a kid my parents were strict about me calling friends who moved to other states. It would cost an extra amount per minute stacked on the phone bill.

"Just because we're unmannerly weasels, does NOT mean we are not gentlemen."
Good point.
🤣
There were three or four things the Chief Weasel didn't approve of, yet everything else they were doing was ungentlemanly as well.
"professionals have standards"
-sniper from tf2
That one weasel had some serious balls to kick over a bee hive
Are you sure that the weasel was not half honey badger?
I like the albino ferret who wants to do things even the Chief Weasel won't stoop to.
Apparently Chief just wants to keep the hall in one piece for as long as he can I suppose.
Not albino, just white

I like him too
Stoat
I love the design of the weasels than the other incarnations.
i absolutely agree. the military look fits the story much better in my opinion
Never telephone long distance on another mans phone
1:21 I love it how the Chief Weasel sings along with his cohorts.
I used to think it was a girl.
As a kid it was just a catchy song.
As an adult I’m stressing over all of the bills and legal fees from this project x party.
Long distance on another man's telephone?...Hold!

I've seen Wind in the Willows I think, but I prefer their stop-motion animated holiday specials. I haven't seen many of their films.
I miss Rankin Bass.

Let’s drink his port and use his snooker table!

We're going to pile up his sink
Paint his walls Pink
Because Toad is not Returning

This movie has the catchiest songs
Has anybody noticed that chief weasel uniform looks directly like soviet officer uniform from 2 world war?
Soviet commissars have alot in common with weasels
Can you upload the main characters recapturing Toad Hall please?
I guess the chief weasel has a confession to make about toad hall
So the weasels are inconsiderate of Toad Hall. This means that they’re abusing the place.
I love how there’s always that one weasel who always voted in favor.
Can you upload the full movie in Kimcartoon, please.
You can get it at Amazon.com
Chip the glasses, crack the plates, that's what Bilbo Baggins hates.
I’m chief weasel in my play
Hi, i saw that you still upload, is there any chance you could upload the final fight from this movie?
Weird, how come the Chief Weasel has somewhat of eyelashes on the design? Makes him look effeminate or female. I think I'm the only one who notices
Julayla you’re not alone!! As a kid I actually thought the chief weasel was female!
Have you seen Chuck jones' animation ?
The lead weasel sounds like Bill Oddie
They'll what his knifes ? I can't hear that bit
"They'll DULL ALL OF his knives". I believe that's what they're saying.
The toon patrols great ansisters

Miximals7 so many portrayals
I have the book
I love that Disney version. The first time I ever came to be associated with _The Wind in the Willows_ and _The Legend of Sleepy Hollow._
I thought this was the Disney version
It _was._
What is the joke at the wnd? I why does it matter if you call long distance or close distance?
Long distance has an extra charge, case in point if you are in america and call a company in lets say france, youll get a high charge tacked onto your bill
@@magicamadeye Yep! At least it used to be a big deal back then. I'm sure it still is today for us Americans.
