    You are asking the questions and providing points that those who have been playing in this franchise for a long time have been asking and craving for answers from Ubisoft. Great content, this is an awesome video!

    Honestly though, the voice actor they used for Nomad in breakpoint was amazing, but coming from Wildlands and playing breakpoint right after... It is such a wild change it almost takes me out of the story entirely on it's own. I wish they stuck with the original voice actor or had used this one for the whole series..

    Great features/things listed.
    I also liked how you acknowledge certain mentioned things as too untealistic or ambitious. I've seen so many comments of people wanting different things for the next ghost recon, that it becomes unrealistic.
    Very good video btw.

    I'd love to see an 8 player co-op mode in "Over".
    In Ghost Recon Wildlands' ending 1 (where Sueño is shot by Bowman), there was talk about the possibility of El Sueño becoming the dictator of a country, and how that required *more operators* to take him down.
    It'd be really interesting to see that in the new Ghost Recon, where we can complete missions with more squad members and coordinated attacks instead of the standard 4-player squad system.

    Leaks said the setting would be Mongolia, which is already impressive that they can come up with it imo considering the varied environments you can get there unlike Auroa. That, along with the use of Snowdrop engine, I'm sure the game will now be up for modern standards, graphically. Will it be a good Recon title? We'll see.

    I feel The Watch dogs legion "recruitment mechanics" could be used in the Ghost recon games.
    Recruiting your own teammates and making different squads of one to four soldiers.
    To jump from one squad to another at any time of the game, to use in different types of missions or intel gathering....
    -Sniper/stealth squads
    -Assault/Heavy weapon squads
    -Undercover civilian hacker squads (could freely walk around enemy occupied cities and towns)
    -Or maybe a hitman Squad of one man.... Like some solo agent. Giving him an option for one disguise slot.
    This mechanic could also be used as a "Hit List" for potential NPC you want to eliminate, or use to track down a specific NPC in the world that has intel you need...
    Working on improving this mechanic, they could make the game feel like an inner web of NPC`s are living their lives, going about their routines, interacting with one another, also creating conflicts with each other, that you as the player could prevent before happening, influence to your benefit, or just ignore.

    Relating to deadly environment/weather events/owning vehicles: I always wanted dry creek beds or even shallow rivers (easily crossable by foot or small car) to become flooded and turned into deep raging rapids for maybe a day after heavy rains, becoming potentially deadly if attempting to cross on foot, and really only crossable by a capable 4x4 truck equipped with a snorkel (which could be your upgraded personal vehicle). And if seasons changed, even those 4x4's become useless off the roads in deep snow or on the now frozen lakes, where only specialized treaded vehicles or snowmobiles reign supreme.

    Okay so I'm doing a list because Wildlands is my favourite game and I appreciate your inputs:
    1. Yes agree 100%
    2. I think northern Iran or southern Pakistan could work well. I love using inefficient boats in Wildlands, what can I say. Big glass cities though? I would prefer Barvechos being the standard town and going up to 4x that. Huge developed cities mean lower performance in other areas
    3. Agree on them not overpromising graphics again. Graphics = computation, I would prefer 1km engagements with Wildlands graphics than nice trees with Breakpoint render distance. Also, GR MUST be console compatible we have 0 tactical games and they destroyed PvE Siege. Oh CQC Basics my beloved...
    4. I just picked up Far Cry 5 other day, it is not clean. My AI keep Prigozhining their aircraft. But in a polished scenario, yes better AI is needed.
    5. Lmao I already larp this in Wildlands. Kind of agree. Remember the Ghosts are not Rainbow. The average Rainbow engagement distance is like 7m. Ghosts is like 70m. Ghosts (true of the game also) have a role and shouldn't try to be everything at once. But maybe Unidad don't auto detect you on the street if you're using SMG or sawn off and pistol. Detection on roads in Breakpoint made travel a nightmare (not in a good way)
    6. Yeah, makes sense. Balancing may obv be the issue. Some gear may be redundant etc
    7. Okay actually disagree. Breakpoint is very annoying with injury, it's not realistic it's not fun I think it was actually a mistake
    8. Yes and this fits into my ideas of point 2. Scavenging off the hillside initially made sense for Breakpoint, you're a lone survivor battling against this super threat... but now there's this huge hub with 30 people... huh??? but food and sleep could work. Have small rebel approved B&Bs on outskirts of Barvechos would fit well. As well as weapon parts distru, maybe add barrel life? No in game money, you're literally CIA funded. Maybe rebel trust as currency
    9. Ehh, disagree. It's minor and if someone's in third person not all that important
    10. Yeah I mean see point 6 again
    11. Very true. Breakpoint takedowns take too long, often gets me in trouble
    12. Mixed. Very against Just Cause 4 style weather events. But I like BFV's weather changes. Be moderate
    13. Not sure. I think you should respect your vehicle in the game. If you want to use it, take care of it
    14. Following on from point 7, ehh maybe? Breakpoint's lava fields were a pain there was nothing interesting added
    15. Probably? I mean, depends how nice the console controls will be for me. But again, maybe unnecessary processing for tradeoff
    16. Again, probably. As long as I can strap C4 to my helicopter to have it burn up in the air as I parachute into the base
    17. Yes, a tank would be nice. Seaplane, seahelicopter, some propper IFVs. Maybe too MGSV but perhaps horses? Like the customisation ideas. Oh and a repurposed narco sub could be neat
    18. As soon as you get past 6 people it's too many. But you could have squad hierarchies. If you + friend play in 4 squad, 1 each. If 3 squad 1 AI, leader takes AI. For 6 people maybe leader, lieutenant etc
    19. I like the Wildlands green beret destabilisation stuff. So as long as it's not defeating pacific elon musk again ;)
    20. Okay so can't see rn but on topic of first person: it worked well in Wildlands unofficially, why not make it official?
    As for my own additional list:
    1. Wildlands drone is vital. Look at the news videos. Drones are no longer an element of the future. Expand upon the quadcopter's abilities
    2. ATGM and Javelin. Again, look at the news. Anything else wouldn't be realistic
    3. No premade weapon presets or variants. Base gun you can customise and create presets from. No "AK47 Assault" just AK47 and maybe 3 presets. I'd love tarkov level custom but probably unrealistic expectation
    4. At least 6 pallet presets for visuals, I hate having to delete a skin
    5. Perhaps a Jetpack? They're just around the corner for modern militaries and we have that CIA cash
    6. Standing on boats. It's in Far Cry 5. Let me stand
    7. Player accessible mortars and artillery. Maybe arty from the rebel wheel but again, Far Cry 5 managed mortars just fine
    8. Rebel communication. Honestly just give them what your current squad has. Yes I want rebels on that position but I now want them to move west. Should be simple
    9. Bring compact machine guns back. Bring the m40a5 back. Bolt actions are an enjoyable experience. Skorpian and Mac10 were a nice pairing. Esp with only 2 slots
    10. Somehow, allow train transport. I don't know how, maybe GTAV tram style but I appreciate a diverse array of transport options
    So that's my thoughts, feel free to respond and critique. As a TLDR; a game can only do so much, make sure what's important is prioritised.

    • @christiankuchenbrod3878
      @christiankuchenbrod3878 10 месяцев назад +2

      I love breakpoint I don't disagree with what you are saying but it just left out too many things that we had in wildlands. Little subtle things that didn't make the jump into breakpoint. Like be able to put all your weapons away. Or having more imersive dialog with your noc team mates. Or just the overall feel of wildlands feels better even the story felt more impressive. Breakpoint just gets too scattered and confusing in my opinion. But breakpoint definitely has better graphics and character customization. I love them both but if I had to choose I would pick wildlands.

    • @kebabit707
      @kebabit707 Месяц назад

      8 months late but im very 50/50 on the two games
      breakpoint adds alot of nice features like prone camo and optical camo, and the perk things like panther, pathfinder etc, aswell as a much more customizable gameplay experience and nice interesting features like the injuries
      wildlands, however, has a world that feels far more alive, far more real. it's a real place you can go to technically speaking (just with less cartels i'd imagine), there's civilians everywhere from small towns and roads to huge cities
      wildlands also has, in my opinion, far better movement animations from walking to sprinting. wildlands feels very stiff when it comes to the jogging you do in erewhon, or the slow walk, and wildlands lets you look around properly when walking, walk backwards, or even shoot between your legs when prone without having to ADS (although wildlands' method of climbing up/down mountains (and therefore rolling off of them when out of stamina) is lacking)
      also, classic controls for helis are in my opinion infinitely better, but they are just not present in breakpoint which is also a huge issue for me, flying with new controls feels like shit

    More like 20 things he wants🤔as I think a lot of this would ruin the franchise for me especially stuff like the gear weight impacting your gameplay ngl I love having the creative freedom of wearing whatever tf I like bc it looks cool not just bc it has utility,also the nex gen graphics could discourage players as it could be seen as too demanding and not everyone has water cooled 4090s and ngl I like the flexibility of the hud and repairing vehicles just seems a bit silly

  • @ethanesslinger9805
    @ethanesslinger9805 8 месяцев назад

    Yeah no I have to disagree with the takedowns. BP Takedowns were meant to only be done in stealth, that's why when you're in combat they take much longer. Whether you feel it's over the top or not doesn't matter because they were infinitely more realistic than kicking a dude in the nuts and somehow shoving his face into the ground, or poking his belly with your pistol and then... throwing him to the side. Stealth should be fast, yes, but that's it. They should be brutal and drawn out if your situation gets to that point.
    Also hot take, but we really do not need non lethal finishers, that's just extra stuff Ubi would have to make for absolutely no good reason. We're not playing as cops that have to follow civil law, we're playing as a "no witnesses" black ops team. People asking for tasers or knockouts instead of neck snaps and stabs don't think about how that makes absolutely no sense, we would be leaving direct witnesses everywhere.

    • @C-JLChannel

      Bruh, 2 of the British army moves is:
      1. Punch in the nose (then arrest or shoot)
      2. Flip over the shoulder (then arrest or shoot)
      You don't have to go breakdancing with your enemy 😑
      But you raise a good argument and thanks for watching

    • @ethanesslinger9805
      @ethanesslinger9805 8 месяцев назад

      @@C-JLChannel 1. The british army is not the same as a black ops "no witnesses" unit like the Ghosts. There's a reason the CIA keeps all Ghost/Delta/DEVGRU operations under wraps, the same is rarely done for regular army, marine, or even ranger operations.
      2. The moves in WIldlands aren't necessarily unrealistic, but the enemy slowly reacting to them and dying from a belly poke from a pistol? Or a nut kick? I'd rather take Breakpoints executions any day of the week.

    You keep saying "lets not get too ambitious" but then ask for supersonic jets? Again, we are playing as Ghosts, not HAWK pilots. The max sized vehicle we should have access to is helicopters, APCs or IFVs, and MAYBE a tank if it's done right, but we know it likely won't be. Chances are though Ubi would just make you indestructible.
