I am glad that you have chosen this song this round. This is a song of its own kind. Not many singers can sing like this eerie feeling/emotion so well. High skills high techniques. Realizing that you are able to precisely highlight his skills used. Great. One important criterium to be able to go "Global" is, Zhou Shen sings in many languages also at high quality. Ukraine, English, Russian, Italian, Japanese, Indian, Polish, French .... etc. The native people know what he sings.

I personally believe that a non-English speaking singer should spend time polish up the language before performing. Perfect example is Zhou Shen.

This is a very hard Gothic song, I remembered when 1st time Charlie performed this song on TV, everyone were so shocked (with my jaw dropped can not put it back). You know, before this song Charlie always sing soft melodies like angel, (except he was singing a lot of Mariah Carey, Britney Spears on internet before he went on public. ) and this song is so dark that no one, no one can believe Charlie Zhou Shen can sing like this. It showed Charlie singing skills, emotion driven, lead the whole atmosphere to cold dark area instantly. This song always makes me think it should be at the start (or end) of a James Bond movie, it has that quality to it. I think he would do a fantastic job of a Bond theme.

Zhou Shen has sung so many styles of music with almost a full spectrum of human emotions. In this performance, he demonstrated a lonely, narcissistic, unsettled, disappointed, struggling, angry angle(even it's dark emotion song, but his voice always is angelic) singing in a demon soul.

Actual Song Title is “Listen to the Ringing of Your Doorbell “ It was written & composed by Mr. Gao Xiao-Song, musician, writer, director, host, and bibliophile and ex chairman of Alibaba Music Technology. He has composed many songs but has only allowed 2 singers to sing them to date. When he met Zhou Shen, he was most impressed and decided to sponsor and let ZS sing 10 of his compositions. Doorbell is one of the songs which He gave to ZS in 2016 or so to practice and interpret. However Mr Gao thot the ZS 1st version wasn’t good enuf and believed ZS is capable of putting far more emotions in this song. He asked ZS to send him the final version only if he himself feel he is satisfied with his final work on this song.. It took ZS at least 4 arduous years to practice to arrive at this version. After he sent the final version recorded in his iphone to Mr. Gao who promptly informed him over WeChat video that that was exactly what he was looking from from ZS. This song debutted in 2020 the Singers Show. Incidentally Mr Gao was the first person who truly believed in ZS’s uniquely creative talent, breathtakingly beautiful angelic voice, and personally invested in ZS. He invited ZS to his LAX home recording studio to record his first CD of 10 songs.

The reason why i like this song, is not really the song itself, its HIS performance of it. Watching ZhouShens performance is like a piece of art and this performance is one of my Tops! Plus I really like the whole atmosphere of it and the meaning behind the song too.

Can't agree more. "Baby Goodbye" is a performance of Singer 2020.It starts in Russian, combined with reggae and opera, you guys gonna love it.
It is fun to watch your reaction. He and HuaHua are both talent young generation singer in China. Zhou Shen can perform not only individual songs, his voice goes surprisingly great in the duet. Search his duet song and you will see a completely different him. His recent song performed was “克卜勒”….there are many many other classic duet he performed with different singers as well.

As a Chinese, his cover on foreign language songs are really amazing accomplishments but to you they seem to be normal. Thus, I would like to recommend "Song of Paradise Island". Suggest that you find out the meaning of the lyrics and enjoy the live performance coz there is a video with the English translation but that is not live performance. Zhou Shen's live performance for this song is marvelous, hope you can react on the live performance.

Welcome to react to Zhou Shen again. I'd like to recommend 《野狼disco》, a highly rhythmic duet from Our song(我们的歌） series. Zhou Shen rarely raps, but he did it in this serial program, which has been acclaimed as classic and he won the championship with Hacken Lee . Besides, the first time Zhou Shen became brave enough to exhibit himself on TV was to sing Huan Yan (欢颜) in 2013 in The Voice of China. It's touching to be retrospective and enjoy that unripe, earnest and highly-potential him.

Zhou shen should be global star. He is just one only unique voice.. I heard alot of dimash' songs but can't compare with zhou shen uniqueness. As aspected dimash can sing very high n low key but to have that clearety n angelic voice still zhou shen the best. His voice alone can tell u a story. Just listen to my only.. Just piano n his voice.. It can move you soul!

Zhou is very hot in China. He has won so many music awards already.
He should be an International star. He speaks Mandarin. Also he grew up in China & went to college in Ukraine, because cheaper. He went on to study music @ a performing arts college for music in Ukraine. So, it is interesting he has not been professionally trained like Dimash has, yet many put him in the same camp as him. He also became ill when he was younger, I believe this might have caused his growth to be stunted & not go through puberty properly- thus the high tenor voice- actually anyone who knows voice knows he is a countertenor. He taught & learned by himself mostly by watching videos, he said himself in one of the many voice competitions in China that he has been in. He is the one to watch from China right now for sure.
