- Kalakand is one of the most scrumptious sweet in North & East India where milky white Kalakand is hugely popular. Kalakand is a solid milky white mass garnished with pistachios & almonds with traces of saffron.
Ingredients:
Fresh Cottage cheese: 400 g (grated)
Condensed Milk: Half cup
Milk Powder: 2 teaspoon
For Garnishing grated almond, pistachio and cashew nuts.
Step 1
Heat the pan. Put the cheese in the pan add milk powder & add Condensed milk. Mix well and keep stirring. Check the consistency, as you are seeing in the video. Turn off the gas.
Step 2
Take bowl & put butter paper in it. Transfer the mixture in it and garnish with almond, cashew and pistachio and keep aside for cooling down. When the mixture is set, cut into pieces and enjoy your Kalakand. Hope you enjoy the video and the sweet.
