I had the incredible opportunity to meet and to dine with the legendary Akira Nakai of RWB, the mastermind behind some of the world's most astonishing Porsches. Nakai-san's artistry transforms Porsche 911s into breathtaking, ultra-wide-body masterpieces, and his passion for turning these cars into drivable art is truly remarkable.
This unique dinner experience was a culmination of years in the making, as Nakai-san visited Porsche Centre Richmond to work his magic on the iconic 997 911. I share my firsthand impressions of Nakai-san's character and philosophy while enjoying some delicious food and RWB show cars.
Special thanks to Porsche Centre Richmond for making this unforgettable day possible!

Using duck tape and no corrosion protection after cutting and drilling and all kinds of funny works ect. I keep my stand but this is anything but professional. Just for the looks and nothing else. I Would never sacrifice an original well engineered peace of machinery and make a Frankenstein out of it. Sorry folks,🤷‍♂️

He's all about creating unique artworks that break the rules of traditional design. His signature touch is that raw, rough edge you can't miss. And when it comes to Porsche designs, he's nothing short of a master.

He’s using aluminium tape to cover the cut edges, that should be adequate…
