Someone brought one of his builds to the Petit LeMans in 2016. It was one of the most amazing builds I have ever seen. It was parked next to gt3 and no one was interested in that one. All cameras and eyes were on the RW...so so sick

Fellows in Italy, South Germany, middle and North France, those are the guys who are master artists of their craft, because you have to be referred to even so much as touch their door step, let alone get to see their work. I'm an Icar gold certified collision repair tech. The ONLY thing he did wrong on this build was leave the cut edges exposed, which will almost certainly be fixed later as this was a timed build. And the fact that he builds these cars by eye and they come out straight every time is dam near a miracle. This guy is a journeyman, or master body tech. If you think otherwise you've either never done the work or you simply lack respect.

Icar Gold certified collision repair tech here. What you see as "hacking" is actually probably one of the most skillfully performed tasks you've ever watched. He does each of these cars entirely by eye, and they turn out dead straight and level every single time, that is dam near miraculous. Most guys that have been in the industry for 30 plus years still would not be able to do that. As far as his installation methods, cutting the fenders and whatnot, that's just how you install a widebody on any car. Kemmerer did it the exact same way on their K3 Porsches back in the 70s.

For what he did it looks good on the video no doubt, but it's not like the guy is shaping new sheetmetal fenders and doing fab work you know, i guess i just don't understand the mystique and fan fair behind it all
Icar Gold certified collision repair tech here. What you see as "hacking" is actually probably one of the most skillfully performed tasks you've ever watched. He does each of these cars entirely by eye, and they turn out dead straight and level every single time, that is dam near miraculous. Most guys that have been in the industry for 30 plus years still would not be able to do that. As far as his installation methods, cutting the fenders and whatnot, that's just how you install a widebody on any car. Kemmerer did it the exact same way on their K3 Porsches back in the 70s.
He made all the body panels himself he just comes over to install them once they are all in the shop.

I'll never understand the point about this guy. He's just chopping a beautiful 911, putting some crappy glass fiber kit with silicone! and killing the handling by widen it like half a meter. Killing a 911 has never been so expensive.

The silicone will get dirty quite fast, and it's quite hard to clean it from dust that will stick to it.
I actually have never really understood widebody kits in general. I definitely am not a fan of chopping up fenders.
