You two have become by favorite RUclips couple! Koreans believe that unseasoned meat is the best for judging the quality of meat. Most of my Korean friends order unseasoned meat. I like the way you are so positive and supportive of all the places you visit!
@@billandlisa not sure if you tried it but there’s an AYCE kbbq with good quality called Oo Kook is Rosemead and Korea Town but I think the Rosemead location is loads better
Really impressed by the variety of cuisines you vlog about plus eating them locally as close as the South Bay and beyond Cali! Definitely a channel I love to follow!
That egg soufflé looked fantastic guys! Yum Korean BBQ always looks so fresh and delicious. I remember when Mikey Chen visited that restaurant, he has great reviews.
Great shootout. I'm favoring Korean Bbq mainly because of the egg souffle,(l love eggs), Korean pancake and kimchee dishes. Also I hear Korean fried chicken is awfully good and was surprised you guys didn't have some. 👍🏿❤
Love the Korean bbq experience. Tried it several times on East Coast, Pacific NW and 'Zona. After my Vegas trip in May, I'm going to SoCal because of you wonderful folks, thanks a bunch.
I'm sorry, I have to go to the Emergency Room because I can't stop drooling..I finish watching when I get back..You say BBQ and I'm all in..Great Great review..Thanks and the Best to Both of You..Stay Safe !!
Dang I’m so hungry watching this!! It all looks so delicious, I love kimchi and that soup looks like a must try. The service looks awesome too! There is one in my area.
OG Korean BBQ dipping sauce: Teaspoon of salt, covered with about an ounce of sesame oil. It works for all non-marinated meats - beef and pork. Yes, including tongue, intestines, etc!
Bill did you try the Korean pancake with soy sauce? And the side dish for steam eggs is originally cooked from the pot. It is a lot poaching than cooking around the bbq grill. And kinda similar like Chawanmushi. Japanese style.
One of my favorite restaurants. Korean BBQ is great because of so many ways of combining the meat with other flavors (sauces, side dishes). Can't wait to go back to this place!
Hi Bill and Lisa, my husband and I love your videos. Every night we watch while eating dinner and my husband is wondering why he's eating such a bla meal while watching the delicious foods you guys are having. Just wondering if you have ever tried TK92 BBQ in San Gabriel? This place is our fav for Korean BBQ. Thanks again for your informative and fun to watch videos. You two are the best!
Thank you, Lily! We don't frequent San Gabriel too often as we're in the South Bay area. Thanks for the rec though, never know if we're ever in that area.
Loved this vlog!!! So yummy!!😋 I am Korean and Baekjong is my favorite KBBQ. Glad to see you enjoyed the food too. Btw, the steamed egg you order is different version than the egg on the grill...more flavor and seasoning. ❤️❤️
Looking forward to your Vegas Nobu vlog soon! Going to Vegas next week and haven’t tried Nobu in many years. Been to Morimotos and Mizumi in Vegas recently so looking forward to trying Nobu. Would’ve loved to see your vlog before going. 😊
Bill & Lisa's Food and Travel I know, what a shame! Hope we run into you guys one day. We live in SoCal but love Vegas and Hawaii. Even my husband has become a subbie and started watching your channel. He’s the one who asked me, “Why are you watching some random people?” That was way back when you had a few thousand subbies.
Why do I watch your videos at midnight when I'm starving...I've never had Korean BBQ but now I want to go this week. Where would your recommend in Orange County.
Haven't had any kbbq in the OC, but check out the video description for their website link and see if there's one near you. Otherwise, Yelp is a good source for recommendations.
Please recommend a nice dinner place in Las Vegas for my anniversary dinner in June we will arrive on the 11th - we love meat and are up for any type of restaurant
So many anniversary worthy restaurants in Vegas. Here' are some of our favorites, Eiffel Tower Restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Steak, Morimoto's, Vic & Anthony's, Oscar's, Mott 32, to name a few.
I've never had japchae as a banchan before. I must be going to the wrong KBBQ places. I do love radish kimchi though. That whole meal looked amazing. Glad you had such a great time.
As a Canadian living in the far north, I have to admit I didn't even know there was such a thing as Japanese or Korean BBQ. And Brazillian as well! You have definately enriched my foody knowledge, and when we can travel again, I will be trying out a variety of food. Spandex pants, here I come!!! Great video. Thanks for sharing..
Even though Korean and Japanese food is popular, many people actually don’t know about it. Most people in the general population only know food that their family traditionally eats, along with fast food and the basic Italian foods like spaghetti and pizza. That’s pretty much the food knowledge of most people in the western world.
Okay, so Korean BBQ meat is not marinated/seasoned but has a lot of sauces and sides to mix. And Japanese BBQ meat is marinated/seasoned but has fewer side dishes. Do I have that right? I think we’ll have to try both. Everything looked amazing and you two are adorable, as always.
One opened about 2 years ago near me in Irvine, but I haven't had a chance to grab friends to go try it yet. Sure looks fun, and a bit different than the AYCE Korean BBQ places we usually go to.
I always look forward to your new video! Lisa, if I may make a suggestion, instead of saying "really good" ALL of the time, please consider using the words "delicious" or "excellent" or "tasty", et al. Just a suggestion - thanks!
MMM i love kbbq.. the steamed egg and that corn cheese YUM! wish you guys got some nice juicy pork belly tho!! YUM! but either way so good with banchan and everything!
Aww you guys are the cutest ever!!! I got to find this chain in OC it looks super fresh😋 I have only been to Gen in both LA & OC... btw i’m not getting notifications & noticed my liked vlogs have had their liked removed, don’t know why :/
This location looks a lot more trendy than the other ones I’ve been too , and they rebranded to Baekjong from Kang Ho Baekjong lol maybe it was too hard to say the whole name
Gens useta' be my favorite KBBQ. Master Kim's is now MY favorite AYCE KBBQ (Town Square). Never heard of this one, but I like the way the Restaurant is SO Open!!! ❤ KBBQ😋
We saw on another video of the steamed egg on the side of the grill. When they came around for our order, we thought we had to order it. But, after we ordered, our server came around with the egg kettle and poured the egg into the channel in the grill. That steamed egg comes included. The big steamed egg pot is what we ordered by mistake. Oh well, was tasty anyways. lol
I'd like to see you do a review on Chinese spare ribs where they use Chinese 5 spice & other spices along with sweet bbq sauce with a mahogany color & then hang them vertical on hooks in a slow cooker flame box, also a video on their very garlic noodles, I forgot the name of the place but is rated # 1, and it is in California, I think San Fran, thank you
My favorite couple enjoying delicious foods.

Cheese corn was pretty awesome. =)
Wow! Thats a lot of food for two people! Looks great
How fun! Your waiter/grill master Chase sure knew his stuff :-) Gotta love the sides at Korean BBQ!
Hi Bill and Lisa, Korean BBQ has it going on too, I will look out for this one too, not sure about the kimchi though lol
All the meat tastes a lot more quality than all you can eat but my absolute favorite there is the marinated rib one 😋
Very true, better meat quality when ordered off the menu versus AYCE option.
