- Im not really sure what kind of relationship all heroes in dd have towards the new character in the new upcoming DLC. But yeah I just kinda did a thing here. Could be completely wrong in the end. But it was still fun to make something dramatic. ALSO, I KNOW ITS NOT FINISHED. It's just really hard to finish things when all you want to do is to drink and go to bed. I hope everyone's quarantine is going good. or yknow, as good as it can get.

This song inspired a horrifying D&D monster. "Sweet Delilah", the miscarried daughter of the same loathsome goddess who birthed the Tarrasque. She's sessile, trapped within a massive cavern. Yet she has a massive following of heretics, deserters, and madmen, all eager to make their sacrifices on her noose-like tentacles or the massive guillotine-like jaws. Even the children get in on it, clinging to the legs of those who are being hanged so that they die faster.
Perhaps the scariest thing about her, though, is that even coming close to "The Gutter" is harmful to the divine. Demigods get physically ill, and clerics start losing their spell slots, and then taking points of exhaustion. Leaving them easy prey to the kill-happy freaks.
Are you using it for a campaign of yours? I know this is late but I only recently jyst watched the video and found this channel. (Good I did!👍)

Delilah's Children like to ambush beautiful people in the prison city that hosts the campaign, attacking not necessarily to kill, but definitely to disfigure. The rest of the gangs in the city despise them for their wanton cruelty and aimlessness, but fear them for their fanaticism and willingness to attack even legendary figures like Pip Ban-Glas, or the spine-armored Acacia Knights.

After listening to this song and watching this animatic, I've been inspired to create my own Darkest Dungeon hero: The Executioner.
He wears extremely heavy plate, resulting in very low speed but very high health and even a very small amount of prot. He is 100% front row, dealing high damage with accuracy slightly greater than Leper's. His weapon of choice is a short handled greataxe made of a guillotine blade attached to a metal handle with a cap over part of the blade; the part of the guillotine that would be the top if it was still intact is where it the handle is, the longer side has a sort of cap built over it as it has no cutting-edge and there's no reason not to, and I don't know, keeping the blade from just falling off? Don't know how to properly phrase it. He is like Abom in that he can have more than four skills equipped at the same time, however he can't use them at any given time. His standard attack is "Execute", a basic horizontal slash with his axe that deals more damage and has higher accuracy against marked targets, but he also has a shoulder bash move that I don't have a name for yet that moves him forward one deals a tiny amount of damage with stun and knockback. He also has a mark that I also have no name for. However the most unique part of his skill set is the skill "Sharpen" which increases the damage of his next attack by 20%, stacking to 100% but obviously taking a lot of turns to reach. While sharpen is active Execute is replaced with "Perfected Execution" which deals more damage and has better damage and crit against marked targets but can only be used if an Executioner has killed the targeted enemy type a certain amount of times using Execute (learning the best angle to swing, how much force is needed), increasing based on enemy type. A Bone Rabble or Courtier must be killed once, a Bone Soldier, Defender or spearman must be killed twice, and so on. Bosses must be hit instead of killed. Kills carry over between Executioners. His back story is that he was an Executioner, as the name suggests, however he didn't just cover executions, he also brought the people he was going to execute to the guillotine. This, along with riots/angery mobs is the reason for his armour. He executed without question, believing that the people he killed were truly guilty. One day he discovered that he had not killed a single truly guilty person since the start of his current lord's reign, and so, when a revolution started, he joined, and though his guillotine was destroyed, he remade it as an axe, with which he personally executed his former lord. Unable to bear the guilt of having taken so many innocent lives, he left the estate he lived on, never to return.
Truly a good idea. Now you just need to start. Trust me, itis really easy to realize this in the game. Just put some free time in it, man.
